I got my certificate in the mail and for a while, I was on the RP site and I tried going to the application forms part of the site and then the screen would go white with an exclamation point. I think it was probably because they're either A.) doing work on the site or B.) had a busy server. Who knows

I also received the certificate in the mail. I suspect we're supposed to be using the Recruit Verification page, but it's not recognizing my information (or any reasonable iterations).
It's worth noting above my address it had a number above my name, reading "22 <Astronaut>" (said astronaut name being a popular enough Firefly reference I could easily imagine 21 other Super 8 fans using the same name first).
In case others got different designations, I was sorted into the Brain Blast Fleet.
EDIT to add prior contacts: I didn't send in the Rocket Poppeteer mailing back to them way back when, and didn't receive anything from them until this certificate.

Original Letter Has anyone that received this new certificate also received the original letter they sent out in the summer (the one with the hand written names)?
Also i just went to the RP website and entered in my astronaut name to see if anything would happen and it told me that they didn't have all my info (i had already done this when i first go the letter) but it said my email was already taken...

A newbie, have been lurking for a while, and I just got this mail as well. I never got any of the first mailings but I submitted the questionnaire and I'm also in the Twin Teamwork Fleet
also I has a little number before my astronaut name, 56.
I kinda have a feeling that we are the 21st or 56th persons to get a name and a fleet?
that sounds like a reasonably small-yet-large-enough number
Now rocketpoppeteers.com won't take my name & postal code. and i don't know what to do with mt ID Code. grr.

I submitted all my stuff way back when starting with the coupon, and I haven't gotten anything yet.

Original Letter and RP.com Looking back the first RP Letter was received on July 15, one of the latest reports was July 26, from London. Plenty of time still.
RocketPoppeteers.com opened registration on July 28, after enough time had passed for most people to receive the original letter. The same is likely to happen this time around as well.
But I know I'll keep checking RP.com daily. Multiple times even!

My girlfriend and I just got ours in the mail.
My number next to astronaut name - 57
hers- 96
I am in the Brain Blast Fleet- Cherry
She is Sonic Strength Fleet- Lime
The astronaut names we have were the names we chose on the maze we mailed back the week people started getting the original letter back.
I'm fairly sure she used a different name once the RP site went active, so I guess these letters are based on completing the maze and mailing it in.
Either way, nice certificates! Off to Michael's for frames!
PS: Hit up the certificates and envelopes with the blacklight, nada.

Hehe, haven't been following this one for a while; but I just got mine in the mail.
SGT. Starborn, 77, Super Speedflier Fleet Orange.
ETA: Where do we find out how many stars? Also, where do we put in the code?

I guess we were sorted into fleets based on our success and amount of prior interaction with RP?
I only got mine after submitting an online app (created my name then) and then answering the questionnaire with as many "right" answers as possible, and i got the 2-star rank.
Billhouse and his girlfriend got higher rankings from submitting the original maze.
Anyone get Coop's Command Fleet or Super Speedflier fleet? I wonder whacha guys did to get those.
EDIT: Saevitia did that^ question is directed at you now

Did we ever come to a consensus on this issue with the original letter and did anyone send anything back to the P.O. box?

Ahhhhhh just got mine in the mail today!!! I am SO excited!! I made it into the Brain Blast fleet (known for their creativity and resourcefulness, heck yes!). Go Cherry-flavor, haha! Once we all figure out which fleet we made it into someone needs to make a thread listing who's in what fleet. c: And I'm curious as to what the other certificates said, description-wise. Oh and I'm #84, if it makes any difference.

Correction, our astronaut names are from the online form not the mailing. I remember answering the survey with very strong and brave/cocky answers. She answered with timid and low self-esteem type answers.
