That deleted scene was an awesome add.

My answer (which was slightly different) was that the significance of it was that Yori was giving the directions to the I/O tower to Tron, via his chest circuits. The scene is on youtube though, in case folks don't have the DVD set (just search for tron deleted love scene).

I think its one of the most visually striking scenes of the movie too- they pulled out all the graphic stops on that.

It was fun seeing people's answers to the questions... most of them were easy and simple, some I guess were oddly challenging =) But the best was the last question - the last audio clip.

I was actually surprised (I mentioned earlier) that the dialogue couldn't be googled (easily, at least) which was a bonus. But most people certainly got Yori right... except most of the rest just explained what was being explained, their plans for to get to the solar sailer... well, yeah! But that wasn't the significance of the scene definitely the significance was in either 1) the love scene (digital SFW bow chicka bow-wow) or 2) that it was a deleted scene from the original film (or both, ideally). I mean really, anyone can explain what's happening in any scene hehe. But that was one reason I decided to give two entries for those questions, just so people at least got one chance if they named the correct characters.
Fun stuff

I think the most fun for me was creating that final photo collage though... awesome to see so many people getting decked out and geeked out for the movie over the weekend, haha. It's a testament to the community and the reach of the FLYNN LIVES campaign, even though most people had a hard time finding others who knew anything about it let alone heard of it. But that's where come in anyway =)
(and, I'm a little proud of the visual design myself too, hehe =)

not having the DVD means I've never heard the audio clip one, and will have to wait for the Blu-ray to hear that scene. I never even knew the DVD was released until this year, saw a friend had it. Waiting on the blu-ray that's supposed to be out in Nov this year...

I was lucky I actually had my DVD set w/me at work (loaned it to a co-worker since the movie is $$$ on ebay now). I checked the tower scene, and was like "wait a minute, that son of a" and put in disc 2. Ta-da! That was a good one.
