I don't agree for this reason, as I mentioned in part on another thread, "I sent in the snailmail and got "the letter" but my roomie didn't. I had not rec'd my "letter' before my roomie rgistered on line, and then a few days after he'd registered on line, I got the "letter" and registered."

That's a bit odd... I was fairly certain your 'number' as a Poppeteer was determined by the order that either a) they received your letter, or b) you registered on the site.

For example, me and Lnearmello (he's a friend of mine also following the ARG) had mailed our mazes at generally the same time, and I had registered on the RP site shortly after he did. (The reason why he is 29 and I am 30.)

But, based on what you're saying... He never submitted his maze at all, and you registered a few days apart? Quite odd that you'd be placed next to each other.

Unless... *puts on foil hat* they gave us our Poppeteers number based on the area we live in so that for future real-world events (such as Comic-Con) it would be easier for members to work together? I'm just speculating here. Razz

As far as our fleet, I'm at a loss as to by which process they sorted us by...

Perhaps later on I shall make a topic asking which ARG 'events' players participated in (survey, letter, site registration, etc), which fleet they are in, and which number they are. A collective topic with this information would make it easier to figure out how the one's behind the game have placed us.
