 		Ah were you able to snag one? When I saw it on Kotaku they had already been sold out for about an hour.

Like with a lot of tron stuff that is LE they sell out in less than 10 minutes.

 		I had missed it then went back later that day and got one. SO KEEP LOOKING the site had said sold out no says We're Sorry, This Item Is Currently Unavailable....

 		I know that a few days ago it said the item was fully sold out and even noted how fast it sold out, then added "To find out about future items join our mailing list".

 		It looks like only the LED color is different. I am waiting to see if I get a regular one (blue) for Xmas. If so then I am pretty sure I can change the LED out to the orange.

I will post pics if I can do this.

 		If I recall, the color does only come from the LEDs and the plastic is just white, so you should be good to go.

 		Given the apparent brightness of the unit, I'd hazard a guess that there are multiple LED light sources within it. And... as the trend for this kind of thing is toward SMD packaged components, a changeout, while not impossible, should be attempted only by experienced builders with a steady hand and a fair amount of patience.

I HIGHLY doubt anyone is going to pay $750 for a $50 controller. Especially if you can mod one of the blue ones..... how about modding one of the blue ones to be half orange and half blue?

Personally I think the Wii controller looks the best, but since I own a XBOX360, I'll be getting one of the blue ones soon.

as if making a 1400% profit wasnt enough, the guy is charging an extra $10.50 for shipping. WTF?!?
