She's obviously getting it on with oh lol nevermind. I just read the posts I've missed and half of them were about sexism and shit. I'm a chick and I find it funny... Yet slightly arousing. Wink

But seriously highly doubt she got kicked out for noises. Maybe she left because there was some kind of fuckery going down in her house and she needed an escape.

Seriously guys, she could be lying.

I just sorta imagined she needed to take anti-slendy measures which weren't exactly conducive to normal people living around here - and so the kicking of the out occured.

Yeah, barricading rooms, doors and windows would definitely piss off parents and or landlords, especially if it was doing damage to the original structure. Though if it was Slendy himself causing damage to property it would explain her confusion expressed on the overheard call she made. Wreaking your place is the number one way to get kicked out of your place (with exception of not paying rent.) Even if it was just messy - like in the *warping* house jay visited. The insides weren't destroyed, it was just very messy with furniture and paper inside and outside.

This reminds me: Is it just me, or did anyone else notice a vague resemblance between the "mystery house" and Alex's house, at least in layout? It almost feels like there's some kind of Silent Hill thing going on with it.

I think it was mentioned, at least once, that that was wear Alex lived during the filming of Marble Hornets. I believe it was Brian's house and Alex was staying there or something.

Alex stayed at Brian's house because something was leaving dead animals around his house (Or to get away from the Operator because in entry #22 he explains that "[he] thought [he] would be safer [there]"

Correct me if I'm wrong, now, but when people say "Alex's House", generally aren't they referring to Entry 26? ie: There's similarity in layout between Creepy!House and the place Alex and Amy were living?

I don't think Jessica knows a thing, to be honest. I think she's probably in a similar boat slender-wise, but she doesn't have the same handle on the situation that J does. He's got his footage to start from and was pretty heavy into investigating the whole thing before the blackout; I can easily see Jessica's defensiveness stemming from the fact that she has no fucking clue what is happening to her. I think if J goes and talks to her, he'll be shedding some light on the subject for her for the first time.

Maybe we should make a one post, closed, stickied thread where we list all the characters and locations, and maybe give them a generally accepted short-name for each? (We can call it the Name Card or Marble Hornets Glossary, so its easily spotted) We can easily use the nicknames already given for most things and everything else can shorten to [Episode number][noun]. The episode number should be the first appearance, so people can easily look it up in the videos.

Naturally, Dav should make the thread, but we can compile the list for him, cause he shouldn't have to do the legwork.

I've got some listings (the easy ones) in a notepad file right now, but more complicated things I'll have to take the time to research them (find that wiki), like the Alex/Amy house from episode 26. It'd be nice to have all the houses sorted.

Also, the easy things are in the Wiki, just the harder things like houses need to be sorted. I'd quote the wiki only if allowed in the thread, otherwise, rewrite to avoid pissing people off.

Coughing, once again we hear a related character coughing whenever a slendy moment is happening.
Im kinda new to this forum and you might of discussed it already, but why does everyone seem to have a coughing fit whenever slendy is around?

When you are being stalked by Slenderman his mojo rubs off you and you get negative effects I guess.

Alongside coughing, the symptoms of slenderman stalkage include paranoia and irritability/loss of social skills, also, if the person stalked is near a camera, the stalked person will usually give off some sort of distortion.

Rewatch the first season, and look out for those signs.

On Topic: I don't really have time to make a whole list, but if anyone needs help, message me

Alright, I'm hungry for some trout so I only read the first 9 pages or so. If what I'm about to say appears in the following 10, I like mine grilled.

The first time Jay and Jessica meet, he tells her he's filming a documentary on hotels, the second time he tells her his house is being worked on or whatever. Much adieu has been made about him contradicting himself, and very little on the fact that she asked again. Shocked

I don't know about you guys, but if I saw someone in a hotel shooting video and they told me they were shooting a documentary about hotels, that explanation would suffice for as long as I saw them there. Is it possible she went through a bout of memory loss ala our protagonist? Not a seven month one or anything, but as we've seen footage of these blackouts, entry 17 for example, we know that the people affected still act quite normally during them.

While I like that idea, something comes to mind about it. She only found out his name during their conversation about him filming, and so if she lost her memory in the same way our protagonists did, how does she know his name?

does anyone else find it weird that jessica is on her phone in the hall, just standing there against her door? like she's waiting for J? Notice how she immediately ends her phone conversation?
Yeah, it is a bit odd. It's the sort of thing you might do if you wanted to keep watch for someone but have a believable cover story as to why you are hanging out in the corridor - if Jay challenged her about it she could just claim that she had shitty cellphone reception in her room.
