 		It's arguably nitpicking and I don't know if someone already pointed out but the correct French for "the bird is the word" is "L'oiseau est le mot"
I know, using article in French is quite a headache but it's awesome someone used it in a game.

I'm sorry you feel ignored! The only reason I didn't respond to the image HS sent you was because all I thought when I looked at it was "steampunk dildo" which would not have been exactly helpful so I though it best that I say nothing.

I know nothing of french so that insight might be useful as being nitpicky about spelling and grammar was what most of the puzzles were about anyway.
Also for the new comers he had these lyrics from Duran Duran - Rio posted a few months back "Rio, Rio dance across the Rio Grande"

Some of them seem quite 'hatshoey' to me. Examples:

OWL TIME LOCHS ID ROD FLY
TWO HOOFS LED ILL MID CRY
There are many more.
what three letters ought we eliminate?


I though the three pages that are capitalized on the index source (sleepwalk, hair,and breathing) might be relevant but the letters don't match.

The last one "two hoofs led..." seems relevant! I.e. the two hoofs in the index source.

Taking traffic away from the site was never my intention. It was merely meant to be a quick reference. However, now that the wiki is starting up, I'll stop junking up the thread with images.

Also, sorry if you feel slighted in any way. I certainly never dismissed your ideas and I'm sure no one else did either. However, you have to admit that completely abandoning a line of thought because some dude on a forum said "I don't think that's it" would be at the very least irresponsible.

The truth is that none of us know what the hell is going on and we all have to view it in a context that makes sense to us in some way to keep going. Sometimes we get trapped in that context and surely miss things because of it, but until there is an absolute and defined goal, I don't know how to avoid that.

We all need all the help we can get and, as a person who had admittedly dumped way too much time into this, I thank you for doing the same. Personally, (and I don't want this to come off as confrontational whatsoever), I would appreciate it if you posted some of your own theories rather than just explaining why existing theories are incorrect and I encourage anyone else who finds this thread to do the same.

There really are no bad ideas when it comes to Hatshoe. Considering there is no clear goal, one route to it can't be any "better" than another. We all want it to be this grandiose thing but there's always a chance that it all boils down to some dude in Toronto putting shit on the internet with the intent of driving us all nuts.

Shit, man, in the end the secret message may be "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine".

very interesting.
when the "twowithout" secret was found, it was an answer to a question in the source code. i may be wrong, but i think the only question still remaining in code is "how many were supposed to see this?". maybe try that?
also, it was "twowithout" instead of "twowithouts"...so maybe we should be looking for "two hoof" instead of "hoofs" or "hooves".
just a thought.

Hey. I was just about to start working on the Wiki again when I noticed that I can't even get to HatShoe.org anymore. It's just a blank page (black background). Anyone else notice this or is it just my computer?

well Trent, I'm just looking at this from the perspective of - absolutely NO ONE will reply to anything I say here anymore. I posted a message from your idol, & no one had anything to say about that either.

the message posted has a rather OBVIOUS clue in it, which I believe he would like us to look into, but no one bothers. so I am just supposed to sit here & not give an opinion on what you guys are looking into etc & every time you guys post something I should just pop a boner & jump for joy? it's really as if this thread is between you & going up, that's really my complaint (if I can even call it that) so that's fine, I'll shift into lurk mode & figure it out by myself.
