I am so glad I got the live call I got! The week's wait was well worth it!

Wow is right. Nice guess on the cows, Pita. Good singing...very appropriate song choice considering the outcome. She was lost and now she's found.

I'm a girl, so I can admit that this conversation made me cry. Poor little Perdita/Sleeping Princess was heart-wrenchingly sweet. Haven't had a game make this emotional since....*sniff*m00t*/sniff*

Big ole kudos to Ariock for recording the call and Steve...what can I say? I luv ya, man.

It is a ton more phun when you can interact more with the game. And you even got to do it without bringing down the scorn and hate of the internet community on your head! Rolling Eyes Way to go! Very Happy

I only heard about the ill-treatment you received, weephun. I have to tell you that you're a real trooper for putting up with it and still sticking around and playing the game. Initially it seemed like getting the Sleeping Princess locked back up again was a bad thing, but it ultimately led to a really fun aspect of the game. So hold your head up high and carry on, soldier.

The cows most likely represented the seven years of feast followed by the seven years of famine, as Pharoah's dream was interpreted by Joseph.

From Genesis 41:2
Quote:
Gen 41:2 And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured cows and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.

Gen 41:3 And, behold, seven other cows came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other cows upon the brink of the river.

Gen 41:4 And the ill favoured and leanfleshed cows did eat up the seven well favoured and fat cows. So Pharaoh awoke.

then later on
Quote:

Gen 41:25 And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.
Gen 41:26 The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.

Now let's all conclude this bible study by joining together for a rousing rendition of Amazing Grace.

I'm glad Dana went to bat for weephun:

Quote:
I just want to say — I understand. Even though my instincts would have been to protect the princess, I do understand. Talking to a brilliant, ruthless, intimidating A.I. from half a millennium in the future — well, it can be just a little mind-blowing. Who am I to tell anyone how to react to that?

I think when it comes down to it, we're all on the same side...

Very diplomatic, and a reminder that the ride's on rails.

I had been maintaining the Melissa conversation repository for the Crew, but since there is no secrets anymore there's no reason to have it protected.

If you want a one-stop place for conversations between people you don;t know and people that don't exist come and get it.

This is from your collection, Vortech, and I haven't seen it on the unForums before. That's just great! It really verifies that Melissa has been corrupted by the flea and will resist being told otherwise.

Well done, Zudini!

Oh, it's on the unForum alright. It's just not that easy to find all the transcripts because they're scattered around, cross-posted, etc.

I've been trying to keep a list of all the transcripts/recordings/etc here (on the Fireflies Wiki).

I think I have all of the ones posted (19 people on the 28th!) but it's possible I missed one or two. Please PM me if you posted a transcript/recording and I didn't see it.
