Hs, N

Hs is the element 108 on the periodic table of the elements. How old was the wearer of the hat when he started youtube channel?

Seventh Video is "N" ; Nitrogen is 7.

methods
numbers letters

i am somewhat perplexed by this hatshoe thing. i would like to see it 'solved' before i walk away but am quite uncertain as to whether or not the author intends 'solution.' sorry for dumping so much entropic rambling but i have little confidence that i am barking up the right tree. (wrong forest?) speaking of dogs: methods seems loaded with letters and numbers.

'6' instead of 'le' in the scratched out line's "whi'le'";
upside-down 'J' for a hat; lower-case 'i' for a face;
'6' and '3' (or'63') for an arm and hand;
two '3's or 'E's for the snowman head and shoulders;
backwards '4' in the dog collar?
a '3' or 'E' for the dog's right fore-paw;
'7's or 'L's for the snowman's nose and dog's ear;
'3' in the body of the little person with the long leash at the bottom
the bold 'ten' in "Pretend"; or is the only emphasis on the 't' as + (addition symbol)?;

OR AM I JUST HIGH ON BATS#!+; OR BATTY ON HATSHOE?
if i'm over-posting, let me know, or if you want me to post elsewhere, say the word . . .

I was editing the YouTube page at the wiki and noticed that HS's age changed from 109 to 110 over the last few days. So assuming he set Jan. 1st 1901 as his birthday on YouTube that would make his originally entered age 108.

He is either joking about how we've abbreviated is moniker or it's significant.

Also about giving up/solving this. I think somewhere toward the beginning of this it was confirmed that this was supposed to culminate in 2012. I think it was an Omegle chat. I'm not sure as those are long gone [unless someone has them saved and uploads them somewhere].

Speaking of Omegle, how horrifying would is be to have to find HatShoe or Verumbris on Chatroulette?!

hardin
The Playboy Mansion

'hardin': FIRST: Oscar statuette making a strange comment which I initially read as something quasi-faustian: 'sell your soul (dignity, integrity, sensibility) for hollywood success. SECOND: Oscar the Grouch's home (a trashcan) countering the statuette's proposal, meaning the success that the academy was offering, does not really belong to the academy, but rather it belongs to the trashcan (q.v. "Satan says to Jesus: "All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me."(Matthew 4:9). THIRD: A Bible(?) open to the book of John, reads: "And at the award ceremony no other than he who rightfully deserves shall be rewarded." precedes John 3:16 "and God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son so that whosoever shall believe in Him [shall not perish, but have eternal life]; This prompts me to compare the award ceremony text on the left page, to what ought be there, John 3:13-15: No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. This 'Bible(?)'s dialogue balloon bemoans the state of 'prescrib'd virtue. (q.v. Aquinas' Virtues, relative to Law and Deeds (I'm far from expert, but I kind of think the Catholic notion of salvation requires acts together with God's grace to achieve salvation). FOURTH: A bat (that looks an awful lot like Batman's logo or a Labyris) speaks about the soteriological scheme (Sola Fides, by Faith Alone, are we saved) developed by Martin Luther, sparking the Protestant Reformation. KNUCKLEAD's ANALYSIS: I believe hatshoe has a knowledge of, and interest in matters of Theology or at least Church History, in the context of Western Civilization. {There are other hatshoe references to Jesus and Paul and Augustine and Heresy and Blasphemy and excommunication (and what about that dying and coming back to life stuff? Osiris?)} I am interested to know how these themes might be present also in the Asimov texts, (I am (save wikipedia) completely ignorant of the contents of Asimov's works.) I doubt that any one key will unlock the whole hatshoe, but maybe the ideas in this post could act like a graphite spray in one of the keyholes. Any thoughts?

Levitation

From wikipedia's Aquinas entry:
Claims of levitation

See also: Saints and levitation
For centuries there have been recurring claims that Thomas had the ability to levitate. For example G. K. Chesterton wrote that, "His experiences included well-attested cases of levitation in ecstasy; and the Blessed Virgin appeared to him, comforting him with the welcome news that he would never be a Bishop."[84]

rather than continuing to treat this forum as my personal playground, (i assure you it was not my intent to do so) i'm quitting posting here. I am filled with noobish enthusiasm and too much free time combined with lack of life and blah blah blah thanks for the fun while it lasted. --K.

@kuncklehead
Amazing stuff, sir. What's weird is that HS seems to be well-versed in, but cynical towards religion. I've often wondered if he got roped into something...like whoever invented the method of time travel was part of a cult or something. I dunno.
Also, quick question...what is that "zenthesizer" page all about? I looked over it quickly and was both confused and intrigued. How did you find it?

Going back to the religion thing...something has been bugging me for a while. I may just be a huge idiot, but does anyone know what the word that precedes (what I assume to be) "heresy" is?

"Denounce" has always irked me. It seems so unlike all the other entries in both handwriting and style. It reads like code.

I hope you still play even if you don't feel like posting in the forum. I believe you're posting interesting ideas for what it's worth.

I read it as "fallen heresy", it's hard to tell for sure though. Look at the "A"s in "what" and "that" they're barely there even.
He must have been a bit more stressed/tired than usual while writing this page.

I'll definitely try to locate any emails I haven't deleted when I cleaned out my mailbox. I'm not sure if they're there, but I do believe he spreads his clues around in them. Currently, I'm busying writing two term papers, so I'll get back to you on this.
@Airportdisco: Greek mythology definitely seemed to be our biggest clue way back when, but we couldn't much out from it. I'm going to go over all of these damn pages when I get the time, and dump what I think in here. Good luck, shoers.

Awesome! Thanks a bunch!

Also, new WoC tweet:

to be honest, to me it looks like follen, because the a (if it is indeed an a) doesn't have a little stick attached to it (seems like). but I doubt that is the case. it is probably fallen, it's just written very hastily.

I don't see much difference in the writing, except maybe that it's a little more rushed on this one, then on the others.

@Poopnate - my intent was not to argue, although I realize that I came off as very "standoff-ish" in my posts. I was really just trying to express frustration at having posted with two messages from Hatshoe, & a suggestion or two, & being ignored. I agree that teamwork is obviously key to this, so I believe you can understand where I was coming from.

@airportdisco/goingup - I apologize to both of you if I was rather offensive, sometimes these things just do my head in. I will attempt to explain now what I was getting at before. in regards to my hatshoe letter having a clue :

"I think one is pretending their intentions are honest."
I think that this means something about one of us. I highly doubt (due to HS's nature & the way he puts things) that it is just a meaningless blip off to the side of the larger quote about levitation. also, I asked him to tell me a secret, so this could very well be one. maybe he thinks that one of the "players" has less than honest intentions. now, what those intentions are, & why they wouldn't be honest, I have no idea, that's something that would have to be thought about. maybe he's trying to make us suspicious of one another, or maybe one of the "players" has been acting shifty lately. so this is what I meant about the clue in the message that I believe was passed over (as I saw no mention of this at all).

in regards to anything else, when I said that I believed that you guys were focusing too heavily on astrological things, & I believed you were missing small pieces because of it, that was a suggestion that, perhaps, we've been missing out. the astrology seems to come to a dead end on several fronts, which leads me to think that even if some pieces had to do with it, a lot of it doesn't. I don't think any of us really knows what to look for (& I don't mean that as an insult), but I can't help but think that when we're all looking for the hidden clues & deeper meanings we're missing things that are right in front of us. so I hope that everything is cleared up now.

oh, & Trent, I didn't mean to sound hostile when I mentioned about you posting things here, it was just a thought that occured to me. if people know they can just come here, I thought that the site traffic for HS might slow down, & that might not leave Hats with much incentive to post new things for us. he's quite slow as it is.[/b]

@juiceboxvomit - no harm no foul, buddy.

As for whose intentions may not be honest, it's very possible he's referring to a player, like you said. Maybe there's someone in communication with him that's not posting on the forum, (we know he's at least aware of it) or is posting but deliberately not sharing certain information. That is, admittedly, a dangerous line of thought that breeds suspicion which is really the last thing we need, but you never know...that could be part of the game. Maybe someone is an "in-game" plant. Gah. I hope not...plus, given the very small number of people who actively post here, it seems like something he wouldn't be able to get away with at this point, but it shouldn't be overlooked as a possibility regardless.

There's also the possibility of the thing I mentioned a page or so back where he refers to the other "watcher" as not having honest intentions. What we do with that, however, is beyond me.

Another thought is that he's referring to the girl in "N". It seems that while most the videos are sent to him by a "former ally" and are meant to intimidate (as he's stated), he seems to have no idea who the girl in "N" is. Plus, I can't be sure because of the retardedly distorted audio, but her video to him seems like she's trying to help him and maybe he just doesn't trust her. Again, what we do with that is anyone's guess.

Have you written him back since he sent that? If not, may I suggest flat-out asking him whose intentions are not honest? I'm sure you won't get a straight forward answer, but at least we may get a clue as to who or what we're supposed to be looking for.
