[OT] Voice actor of Jan James I searched for this and didn't find anything. This is my first post here, although I've been following this thing for a while.
Anyway, I was watching the show Family Guy today and noticed that the actor who plays Meg Griffin (in the first season only) HAS to be the same actor who does the voice of Jan James in these sound clips. I listened to them back to back several times and I'm convinced it is the same person. Her name is Lacey Chabert.

I'll try to get a sound clip posted a little later so you can see what you think.

Related note, I mentioned somewhere around here that Ronnie sounds like Emily Procter (West Wing, etc.)

Well, at least I think Lacey Chabert is hot enough to fit the role of Jan, though maybe lacking in muscle for a visual fit. When I saw her face, she looked really familiar... the last time I've seen her was years ago in ads for Lost In Space. She does have a lot of voice acting credits, though.

For the movie, they'd probably do better casting Jessica Alba as Jan, or maybe Eliza Dushku if she doesn't look too old to play a teenager.
Lacey Chabert was the younger sister in Party of Five (Neve Campbell, Jennifer Love Hewitt being the other female stars)
I haven't heard her voice in a while, but Jan doesn't sound anything at all like I remember Lacey sounding.
Emily Procter as Rani? There's a definite vocal likeness, but Procter is currently busy on CSI:Miami, so I'm not sure if she would have had the time. She'd be great in ILB: The Movie.
One that bugs me is Sophia. I've could swear I've heard that voice before but I can't place it.

Sorry, but you are mistaken... the voice of Meg Griffin was only played by Lacey Chambert in 4 episodes... The voice you hear now is Mila Kunis... The dumb brunette on That 70's Show "Jackie".
I acctually disagree with the idea that it's played by Mila, but it very well could've been played by Lacey... she was the one who played the daughter (forget her name) in the Lost In Space movie... and her voice has the same kind of rasp to it... I dunno man... just figured I'd put in my 2 cents .

No, I pride myself on my extensive knowledge of the greatest show ever made (Family Guy). You see, the episodes I am referring to are in the first season, like I metioned in my first post. In these episodes, the voice actor is Lacey Chabert. From the 2nd season on, it is Mila Kunis (who is obviously not Jan James).

Sarah Chalke, voice of Ellie on "Scrubs." My wife and I are 98% sure (and she doesn't play ILB).
