I think the people who captured him were trying to extract information from him via the hallucinations? Or else it was some kind of obscure organ smuggling operation, because I remember him being on the table near the end.


Wasn't it with the aliens trying to communicate, but failing horribly, and so only succeeded in mindraping Riker?

I actually...don't remember. I remember something like that happening but I don't think it's the same episode. *shrug* Didn't something like that happen in Voyager?

Speaking of Voyager, my family are all such ST loving nerds what we call our nice, white van 'Voyager', my sister's crappy, dirty, blue van the 'Malon Freighter', and I recently proposed that we should start calling our dark red, beast of a Dodge Durango the 'Rotarran.' This is how nerdy my family is, guys, whatthehelliswrongwithus.
