Has anyone (besides me) considered that the Flea may actually be another sub-process like the SPDR, and that it's actually what the Humans wrote to break the Covenant codes?

just [spec] for thought....

Keep in mind, that the "flea" calls himself "seeker".
So if you're going to assign covenant/religious overtones to the name "Pious Flea" assign them to the one who coined it...the SP. <insert dramatic music>

Who do we know that is seeking the truth? G(C)OM for starters, and now Ronnie.
What is the truth though? The location of Earth? The nature of the artifact? Something to do with Troy and Harmony?

I think the truth may be something ephemeral and general.

It always seemed to me that the Flea pursued the truth without really knowing what it was.

Make sense if it's some sort of Covenant intrusion process. The Covenant would have no idea what would be useful in a human computer core, so why not create a process that has the capacity to determine the usefulness of data.

That's an awesome idea, but what about it's strange computer code? Were it a human process, wouldn't it have always known the proper codes for interacting with Melissa and the SPDR? Instead it parroted back what the SPDR used against it.

if only I had a nickel for every time I descibed this game to non-players and heard them say, "huh? sounds like Matrix" (then my special edition release Halo2 would pay for itself) Very Happy
