 Nothing's happening
why is season 2 abysmally slow?

So we all waited for season 2 hoping for answers to our questions
but here we are several entries in and not much of anything has happened.
Do you remember the first few entries of season one? they didn't explain alot but they were great at hooking you in and getting your attention you wanted to see what happened next but so far season 2 has been so boring I don't feel like even checking for updates WHAT GIVES?
as of this writing we are up to entry 30 and we've seen the operator once have had nothing explained,we've yet to even start rejoining the first season's plot we havn't even gotten any totheark responses at this point season 2 may as well be a completely different series.
what say you?

Four episodes in to the first season, all we knew is that Slenderman MIGHT be creeping the shit out of some dude named Alex, and that he likes to power walk in playgrounds.

We're only four entries into season 2, just hold your damn horses, they won't let us down..

It takes a while to edit the HELL out of the entry as well as uploading the bloody thing (if Youtube isn't being a jerk right now).

Troy on his blog said he's already had plenty of good footage to include for later entries. they obviously thoroughly planned this out over the break

Surely that'd mean they'd be able to keep up a more regular pace this time around? I mean, I thought that after the logjam caused by waiting on that mystery Amazon delivery the entries would be coming thick and fast...

I think Season 2 is presenting new Entries that all have some sort of interesting substance to them. Some of Season 1 had Entries where it really felt like filler. Season 2 on the other hand, is moving the story forwards each time.

Season 2 is moving much faster than Season 1.

There are less fillers in this season.

I personally found season one WAY scarrier. Hell, we got right up to Slendy himself in several videos, and the rest was creepy atmosphere and "why is that young man drawing scary things in notebooks mommy o_o?". This season I feel like I'm waiting to return to the original horror and its not happening. Maybe they thought this break warranted some sort of huge plot introduction the first lacked, but I dunno.
Season one was all about my Love and fear of slenderman and having him jump out at me and go BOO, with a little plot sprinkled in. Now its all plot and the 1 slender encounter didn't make me even jump. Sad

Trail Dude had my heart beating the fastest it has since The Operator in 26. The newest entry is my favorite of the new season, and worthy of season one in my opinion. If we can have more entries like that, I'll be satisfied.

Yes, trail dude was scary. I even did the backing away from the screen whilst turning down the volume routine.
I am a little less jumping now than I was in season 1 though. Maybe.
..I still wanna see more slendy though

You guys remember the ever so popular "WHERE THE HELL IS MY ENTRY!?" thread from Season 1, this thread is that. If you'll excuse my terrible syntax.

As already said, Troy and the team are REAL PEOPLE with REAL LIVES and planning, filming, editing, rendering and uploading all this stuff takes time - especially when its not actually your paid job and its a busy time of year!

Tbh, I like where season 2 is - theres no filler (i mean, the entry where Alex is just drawing or looking out the window.. please!) - and there is a lot of intrigue early on. Plus they've been brave enough to go for a new location, a new format, new characters and new effects. Its all good from where I'm standing.
