The Darlings? has the title of the movie been changed? I Just saw this on Cinemablend --
http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Has-J-J-Abrams-Super-8-Been-Retitled-Darlings-22454.html
So, anybody know if the title has been changed? Is it a hoax or more of the mystery?

please pleas try using the search function i know your new here so i will waver the fish as with clover field darlings was used for a casting call for super8 dont panic and use the search or game summary as for that video it looks to me as if the darlings bit has been added on maby by a third party or possibly by jj and crew to throw us off the trail unless i am very wrong and they have changed it but i think its very unlikely and even if we do receive a name change it will still be the same movie

Paramount's official site for the movie uses 'super-8' in it's url. The viral and movie hype are so tied in to the Super 8 title that it doesn't seem like good business sense to throw out the 'brand' recognition they have with it. But who knows...

This via MovieWeb, which still sports the 'leaked concept art' that we know to be a DeviantArt user's work with fake Paramount stuff slapped on it.
The text overlays are so cheesy, the fonts don't match, and we know about the speculations based on a casting call. Put it in the 'too easy to fake as plausible' category. Every time we got genuine leaks in any sense on Cloverfield, it offered something truly new in terms of info. This has none of that. MovieWeb won't even cite where they got this latest piece of crap... just like the concept art we've debunked.

Well, perhaps it will be promoted in Brasil as "Darlings"?
I mean, in Germany they often change the movie titles in a very confusing ways, not only if the movie with the same title already exists in Germany, but sometimes really unexplainable.
The worst example: they called the movie by Kurosawa "Rashomon" as "Lustwäldchen" (bosquet), which also has a meaning of "Little forrest of lust".
Aaah! This drives me crazy everytime I recall this... I need some beer now.

I am Brazilian and here, usually, movie titles are translated in a completely meaningless way. The worst I've ever seen is "Total Recall", they "translate" this as "o Vingador do Futuro", something that can literally be translate to "Avenger of the future".
There is no reason for this stuff, the only thing to do is grab a beer and enjoy the movie, as Kosmopol said.
About the "Darlings", I don't saw this trailer here anywhere, for me this is completely fake.
"Rashomon"... that's an old movie (1950 or so ), so old and still very good, the idea of different points of view is fantastic.

There's a cool band named Rashomon that I like. Sort of experimental stuff, not really music as in song but music as in... other art forms
