I also ordered and received an Abstergo hoodie. I had a feeling when I saw the logo on the back that I should check out uF, but it completely slipped my mind, until now. I don't have it with me, but I'll check when I get home tomorrow to see if it has the same code as yours, Ofiuco, but I suspect it does.

Hi there! I'm totally new to ARGs (though very interested in becoming involved), so please strike me down if I'm tearing through the rules here.

I ordered an Abstergo hoodie too, but because I live in Aus and Ubiworkshop is skimping on the shipping, it hasn't arrived yet. However, about an hour ago I got an interesting email:

Hm, I went through the emails and the dates in some of the communication are not making sense.

For example, Caroline on December 1st presumably helps Shaun Hastings escape from a nasty encounter and she also goes rogue herself.

Yet on December 10th there's an email from Caroline on the Guy Fawkes thread that she appears to still be an Abstergo loyal.

Are we time-travelling now?

I noticed the discrepancies in the emails too... Also there are three emails that are linked to different pages. The Wikileaks page and Abstergo Sattelite page dont seem to be linked to anything, however the adbusters link works... Not sure what to make of it.

I also got the email, and the exact same code, so it's save to say that the codes aren't different for everyone. I originally got the email in my spam blocker, and in there it showed me a bunch of weird "references" that I no longer saw when I released the mail from my spam blocker.

And here I thought Ubisoft had fallen and was unable to get up. Those jerks didn't send me an email! So jealous!

Now that I've had time to read - well, of course the Wikileaks link doesn't work, Abstergo pulled it. :) The time glitch is weird though. I wonder if they fat-fingered the email in on the wrong date. I've noticed a lot of typos throughout and also via Erudito and his various meanderings across the Internet... Maybe they're bad typists, or maybe it's because they're French.

Possibly of note, since Erudito's involvement suggests a PL tie-in: updates for PL (or 'Words With Assassins') are inbound 'soon', something to do with Paracelsus.

Considering Caroline says, '[Shaun] won't be coming in. And I won't be either' immediately following 'Report to S. immediately' from Rikkin, I assumed that she was referring to disciplinary action, not an intention to go rogue (and, really, I don't think I'd announce that sort of thing anyway). But that doesn't make the timestamps consistent, as the earliest Dec 9 email introduces Shaun ('The most likely source is a junior professor named Shaun Hastings.').

That said, it's definitely possible (though unsubstantiated) that she had a role in Shaun's escape. If the Wikileaks emails are really intended to have occurred following Shaun's escape (doubtful), it's possible that Caroline leaked to him and then reported it when it hit Wikileaks to cover her tracks. But I'm stretching now; a simply timestamp error seems more likely.

I'm also a bit puzzled by the reference to S., as Shaun signs as S. in the emails in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. I assume that's just coincidence, though.

There was an S. in the Subject 16 notes in ACB, so I'm assuming it's the same S.
