The Looking Glass Club Lots of puzzles to solve and great story I searched through the forum and didn't see anything related to this, so sorry if I missed it. There is a new book out by Gruff Davies called The Looking Glass Club the might warrant some investigation. The book has lots of puzzles and is offering rewards for solving them. well, I've thrown my hat in and ordered a copy - I need a new book anyway.
Well... after I finish Edge of Destiny, Cryptonomicon, Eldest and Brisingr (my second run through of the Eragon series), that book I got for Christmas and probably Girl with the Dragon tattoo...
Ok, it might be a while before I get into it but I'll try!

I read the first chapter and it seems really interesting! I might order the book...

Just finished the book this morning. Couldn't put it down. There are tons of puzzles that are part of "Tony's" diary. I'm sure if solved it would shed a whole new light on the story itself. Plot blew me away!!

Just finished the book last night too. Boy...someone needs to write a whole other book about the science beyond this story! I think I'll have to read it more than three times to understand everything that was going on. Very good!!

chiming in, too,
I saved the .pdf and printed just the first chapter, then the 2nd (after adjusting the sizing to print two pages per sheet), then the 3rd,... ok, i'm hooked! I'll go looking for the book this weekend before I used up all of the office toner.
btw, I'm extremely grateful that the first 4 puzzles were so easy to grab from the .pdf -- i hope the rest of the puzzles do not require transcription.

I decided to hold off looking at the .pdfs in favour of waiting for the book itself - supposedly its been dispatched, and considering the offices are in London and its coming by first class I should have it either this morning or tomorrow (which is a little ironic as I'm going to London tomorrow morning for the weekend).
