[SPEC]So, we saved the SP, but what about Dana? It looks like Melissa has made contact with Dana - or at least frozen her ATM card . The question is, what can we do about this?
[SPEC] We need to come up with a plan for some way to convince Melissa that Dana is not a threat.
So, does anyone have any ideas?

I read where someone else suggested (sorry I cannot remember who and do not have time to find post right now at work) getting SP to work some A.I. magic and aquire funds for Dana, but methinks that this is not the nature or way of the SP. Here is a thought, though... for just a few cents a day, the price of a single cup of coffee, you too can sponsor a starving Dana in Asia.

Well, anything is possible!
All we know so far is that directly telling Melissa that Dana is not an assassin does not work, from one of the live calls (apologies to whoever it was - I can't remember ). So since we can't take a direct route, we have to think about this from another angle.

Just an idea, but what if we try to convince Melissa that Dana has gone to another continent (not specifying which one) to find more of her crew, so that she can help Melissa out.

We were given a way to whisper into Melissa's ear at the end of yesterdays fun. The PF can now understand the Princess, and the Princess can now speak the Flea's language. The Flea has the ear of the Queen and (untill recently) we have had the trust of Sleeping Princess. I belive that if we can get SP to talk to PF we can get him convince Melissa is not a threat. This may require some flea code to be emailed to Princess

Boy we really do need to Help Dana. Maybe we could get SP and PF to distract Melissa enough to let Dana get some cash and head somewhere safe and not tell anybody her location, including us. So we should get some flea code together for SP and send it off. Anybody got that flea code down?

Why was it neccessary to Rat out hmrpita ? That was a Dumb move and now we will have some thing else that will need to be fixed.
Weephun is the reason we got caught up into this whole Mess.
Zudini was a Rat today and told Melissa that Dana and hmrpita were not to be Trusted. What the Hell!?!?! These two have been on our side the whole time. What sense does that make. The real problem here is Melissa . She is under the control of the Flea. That is FacT.
We need to Serve those Two Beekeepers to King Zeus, so that they may be Bannished from Earth for an Enternity.

wow. Could you be just a *tad* more vehement in your proclamation?
The game is going to progress as it progresses, since the PMs ultimately have the control. There isn't any need for anyone to be running around blasting others for "ratting" or for doing things you find "dumb"
Lighten up your tone a little and enjoy the ride - at least there's more to do now than merely answer phones

DeceptaconS, without what Wheepun and Zudini did, the PM's wouldn't have anywhere to go. They need the conflict between SP and Melissa to go on in order to feed us information. If the game doesn't remain dynamic, they may as well just feed us plain text snippets every week and be done with it.

Well alrighty then.... I will chill, but I don't think that this is the right direction. I understand that it is exciting and different, But I still think we are overlooking something.

Of course we're overlooking something. We've already been blindsided several times by the PM's, and it looks like they'll do it again and again over the next month and a half. These guys/girls are so uncomprehendingly devious that there's GOT to be something we're missing.

You know, something occurs to me. Did you guys really 'save' the sleeping princess?
It just occurs to me that there is something seriously wrong there. Just look at that email from the flea, or even the Ilovebees frontpage.

But, then when Melissa finds the "Rogue Process" who'd been compromising her security to high heaven and back, she puts her in a prision.

She can't - either because she lacks the capability to do so, or because she needs the Princess alive. She can't kill her - she can only contain her (or at least attempt to). Although the implication I take from contactme is that if the SP gets caught again, she'll be in there for good.

[SPEC IDEA} Appeal to Mellisa's logical side on why it is bad news to hunt down Dana or freeze her out.
Spell it out for Melissa in no uncertain terms.
Dana owns the ILoveBees where Melissa now lives.
If Dana is hurt or left without money, ILoveBees will eventually die.
Melissa dies with it.
(yes, I know she might make a jump to another website, but I dont see that going on, but you get the idea...)

That sounds like a good idea. Appeal to her self-preservational side. Which is about 90% of her various sides. (And I agree, she IS deranged) But if the Flea did actually connect to the Master-Sector and influence it to help SP evade, maybe we can convince him/her to help Dana evade. He definitely doesn't seem to be all bad dude any more.
