Yep, and this is why I think that the 20 years outside time is as fast as Kevin ages in the grid, but in the grid it still feels like 1000 years in there. And this still gels with my theory that the digital world is a metaphysical/dreamstate projection - Kevin's real-world "age" isn't affected by the high-speed digital world, only his perception of time (and his subconscious visual self-image).

In short - it felt like 1000 years to Flynn, even though it was only 20 outside years, and he still aged digitally in appearance 20 years (over the course of his 1000 year perception).

In other words, Disney can't get their shit together and come up with a unified explanation, so every source has its own. Nice. And of course, nobody there bothered to try to go back to the original film and do the calculation.
