Okay, +5 points to Jon. Dude, don't worry about bad blood between HYBRIDs, we're kinda a forgiving lot. And for what it counts, I was SO stoked about that ARG. It's really a shame it didn't work out.

Not to be starting any fights or flames here, but what exactly was the Jon v EMH incident? I haven't been around long enough to know but I'm curious as to what happened that we're wanting to get out of the way?

Man, why does reality have to mess everything up?

We don't wanna talk about it. Basically Evan said something, Jon took it the wrong way, and it kinda spiraled out of control from there. That's the gist of it.

Meh, we can talk about it, but I think everybody made amends and the party(s) who was(were) wrong realized their faults and apologized (at least I think so).

We did not know that the forum we were running was so lacking in humor, perspective, and the ability to identify an ARG. I'm actually appreciative of Unforum for understanding this better than half of our members.

You know, I didn't agree with the way you handled the EMH thing, but I do agree with the above. You do have to wonder about people who looked at that and didn't say "it's totally an ARG of some kind" right away. Generally elite hackers do not post puzzles for people to mess with. They wipe everything and replace it with redirects to meatspin or goatse or whatever. Given that it walked like an ARG, quacked like an ARG, and generally behaved exactly like an ARG, most people don't have any right to be upset.

"Most", but some. Not telling all the admins and mods before you kicked this shit off was a dick move for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it made the remote possibility that it was an actual Slendy-aware hacker seem slightly more likely. Secondly, it's common courtesy; if you trust people to help you run a site, you should entrust them with the details of site-wide events, especially those where the likely reaction of the average user is "OMG, what are the mods doing about this?"

I saw you lost vivi over this and frankly, you should not be surprised. Mods are an asset to a forum and the fact that you didn't disclose this to your mods before you kicked this shit off shows a lack of respect for them which I find startling.

And you want to try again, have the mods/admins join in on the fun before the game starts this time.
