I'm thinking about putting it back in the box.
And sneaking it back into a store and putting it back on the shelf.
LOL !

Trust me, the paint job aint that good.
I mean it looks ok and everything.
I took it apart.
Taped it up.
Even still lights up!
I just hate Damn model car paint!
The stuff still sticks to you, Even days after painting.
I wanted to do a blue one.
But it's just a pain in the ass!

If it were slightly darker red you could then sell it with the tag that Bono endorses it for aids research and charge an extra 30%.

Awesome! Im glad to see i wasn't the only one with this idea.
What kind of paint did you use?
Because TESTORS Model car paint sucks!
Stays sticky days after painting.
Thanks for any tips?

actually i did use testors. i used testors gray primer after it was taped off and then used testors spray paint, gloss red, metallic blue, green and bought matching bottles of brush paint for inside the wheels. after i sprayed a clear coat over it and it didnt have that sticky touch after like it would without. it does have a lil more texture to it now with the clear coat than it did without but a fair sacrafice imo to not be sticky and it preserves better
