Well folks, you heard it here first. The fourth wall has not been broken, it's been completely shattered, and consequences will never be the same.
Evar!
In all seriousness, it has vampires, thus, it can't suck, right?

er...you guys realize the blog posts from gothicpicnic are from 2008, and that the vampirecorp blog posts go back to oct 2008? (and there are over 300 of them?)
it seems the trailer for the movie was released back in 2008, initially with a 2009 release date in mind that got pushed back until 2010...and well, we are now in 2011
light reading for you on the legend: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highgate_Vampire

I'm in. I'm intrigued. Trailer thing looks like they actually have vampires...
I argue that Twilight does NOT have vampires, but the rare northwestern sparklepire. Totally different.
A little concerned at how old some of the posts are, but I'll wait and see what happens. At any rate, I'll keep an eye on this, making a vampirecorp account now.

Did the PM just post on here to inform us about a game?
No offense, but doesn't that sort of beat the point of an ARG?
Never the less, if it's taken 4 years to make it's gotta be good, i'll be joining me thinks.

Doesn't this violate the TOS of the forum?
Anyway, anyone can post as a guest, but I would like to see a vampire themed ARG so I hope its legit. But PM, please keep your distance!

OK, after looking around the websites, this is - no offense to anyone - looking pretty lame. The video had no discernible storyline, the gothicpicnic site had half its video links removed with no recent updates, and the vampirecorp site wasn't ARGish at all and looks like its an actual site for wierdos who actually think they are vampires.
Hope I'm wrong, though, and something cool comes of it...

Was totally disappointed that there's no way to join the Gothic Picnic site. They didn't even make the page using Webs, so no membership option at all.
Joined Vampirecorp, though.
Will be idly watching this thread, to see if there's any new updates from our Viral Agency GuestAnon.
Edit: Did a bit of poking around, I'm surprised I didn't think to do this before. Amusingly, this VD is behind another game that I'd looked at a thread for earlier this evening.
The VD's blog:

So, vampirecorp was just the launching platform for the game. A means of gathering interest, and not related to the game itself. Gothicpicnic is, however, still clearly related to this.
..The game that apparently either hasn't started yet, or...something. I know the entries on Gothicpicnic are pretty outdated, sadly. So. I really don't know what to make of it. Contemplating dropping Gothicpicnic a line, though, seeing if that brings anything fun and interesting my way.

I've gotta say, Vampire Corp is a very professional looking website and the amount of profiles that are on it makes it looks really good, nice work there.
