I would imagine that it is just a reference to the obvious influence to the title - 'Pandora's Box'. I'll look into that spec a little more - it may not mean anything, but the pandora's box myth may have something.

 		Another Spec -

Pandora is also a satellite orbiting around Saturn. Prometheus is also a satellite - I've tried saturn and prometheus as html after the url (as they are next to pandora), to no avail. Maybe some other connection?

I've also looked at the myth - after Pandora opened her box, she released pain, suffering, disease, which struck down her and her friends - she opened it a second time (next?) and Hope was released that kissed everybodies wounds and healed their suffering - I've tried hope.html - again, no probs.

All complete spec - feel free to expand and shout if I've missed something.

I thought perhaps the numbers were related to the alpha-numeric phone pad, ie: 2 = a,b,c

...but what about 1's and 0's? I's L's O's --- then I thought about old-school pager code...

...but nothing --- probably dead-end.

 		the chances of the square of a number+fraction to 5 decimal places equalling an integer by chance are very very very slight Smile

in fact its worse than 1 in 100000

so i believe it means something Confused

 		I found some new things I think important.

There are a couple new things I found, maybe some may like to search for themselves so I'm using a spoiler:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
- A message at the top, black text on black:
"seek what is hidden"
- Now the image reads, the box opens 1100, so it is definetely not the starting date of the game. It could be some kind of countdown, we'll have to check tomorrow
- In the /images directory, now theres a /notes dir with a file named lookinside.jpg.mno.

 		well unless it's going to be a pre-game of 1100 days then maybe it's a countdown in binary. 1101 = 13, and now 1100 = 12.

the .mno file is something left over from the program used to make the website, and i'm pretty sure it just busts the PM. not that googling for the guy brings anything up...

interestingly the name revealed to us by the (almost definitely out-of-game) .nmo file is not the same as the name revealed to us by running a WHOIS on the domain, which gives us "zeke hornsby" (and zeke.hornsbySPLATgmail.com) who has been promptly emailed by moi.

 		Emailed Zeke earlier. Got an email back, but it wasn't from him.
