Oh gosh. XD You know, on one hand that's not totally absurd, but on the other... really, my desire for any sorts of bedroom shenanigans goes WAY down when I'm stressed out or feeling unsafe. (Not to mention -- sorry Jay -- when a person is as awwwwkward as he is.) I'd be really surprised if they had "dabbled", as such. This is at least in part because MH just don't seem the kind of story to pull that shizz.

I personally am of the camp that Jessica and Jay don't share a room because they're just not that close. I mean, there's one sense of "running from faceless horrors makes you really close", but then there's the other of, well... there's only one bed and there's only so close that a couple of twentysomethings who don't want a sexual relationship will get even under duress. And honestly, maybe before Jay's memory loss, their situation was not as stressful as we're all assuming. Maybe they thought they really had things under control.

LOL, you know, at first when I started wondering why they have seperate rooms, the possibility that they did have some kind of "more than friends" relationship during that time, then they had some fallout (but like you said, still needed each other) caused them to stay in seperate rooms. Didn't think too much on it, because doesn't seem like their style. And like a bad fanfic, lmao.

She seems weird about letting J into her room now though maybe because of the memory loss making her not even remember him (except his name...vaguely) and she probably wouldn't let someone she basically "just met" all up in her grill.

Im with you guys..this is the worst the wait has ever felt. Of course..it may just be because everyone assumes that something big happened(Im also suspecting that). But what if he really was just in a car for like 3 days and they had no power for their laptop and phone..thatd be a downer.

Agreed. I'd be happy with ANYTHING involving some character interaction between those two.

Not "doesn't look like Masky's mask", "doesn't look like a mask", like, at all. Like it's a piece of paper being held up to the lens/tunnel/peephole. At least that's my take, both on the 'mask' and on the nested quote.

Actually..im ashamed to say that never crossed my mind. haha. (Granted im in the process of moving my mum and siblings into one house and myself into an apartment several states away at the same time.) But I agree now that im thinking. =] Now im just going to be negative and say that Jay would be so awkward that it stops the whole process. ;]

Yeah, no. In general you're fine. I'll freely admit that I've been cranky. It's my first week back at school and I'm still recovering from mono. So crappiness.

And I'm with OmegaX, and have always been on that page. I just don't think that "skully" looks like a mask. I think it was one piece of creepy footage piled into a mass of creepy footage to make us freaked out and too many people paused and stared at that rather than, say, the distant lights clip earlier. I just think we as a forum have blown the implications of skully way out of proportion.

And if you look for my posts earlier in this thread, you'll see that I have strong feelings about Masky, particularly on the front that people repeatedly insist that masky is actually more than one person when we have only skully as evidence. We have no implication through any of the videos, and only tiny shreds of evidence in skully and I guess the oct. twitpic to suggest that anyone other than the probable Tim/masky is "a masky." Yet still the forum is inundated with redundantly "new" speculation that there are more than one masky that people could feel free to not post if they just read a few threads and saw that a lot of people already think this.

At first I was curious as to why people thought there was more than one masky, then as I saw the lack of evidence, I just got frustrated. And on top of that I'm grumpy. So I'm sorry that I was being mean to you. But checking to see if your theory has been speculated before isn't that hard. I've learned to.

I'm 50/50 with it, my first instinct was, "Oh look, another mask" but since there was so many random images that were edited together no one can really say for sure what it was.

I've always found the "more than one Masky" thing a little hard to believe.

I can't honestly believe Masky won't make a reappearance in this series, but who knows what happened during those seven months? Maybe he has a Mrs TTA now. Very Happy

I'm relatively new to all three of the major series, and postively sparkly to the forums, but Masky has been one of the only characters to truly frighten me. I think it would cheapen the idea of having a proxy if it could happen to everyone, espeicially considering how deranged this one could possibly be.

_{But personally it would be interesting seeing Jess treated to proxying, if only for the sheer how of it.}

I agree wholeheartedly that people have blown the skully thing waaay out of proportion, and have probably taken it the wrong way. But here's the thing: either it's another mask, similar to the Masky mask but painted differently, OR it's someone trying to make it LOOK like there's another mask to the camera. Because of the nature of where we see the skully mask -- in a series of rapid cuts conveying relatively quick information -- I'm inclined to suggest that instead of the more complex option, that it is simply another mask.

Here's my take on "skully": it's a previous incarnation of the Masky mask. Either Tim tried more than one mask design before settling on one that worked better/best/looked awesome with his sideburns, or he got the idea from a predecessor. All of that footage in with the skully mask appeared to be from Alex's time anyways, which I think is the MUCH more interesting nugget of information that people have overlooked in favour of "OMAG MULTI MASKY" spazzing. (Don't EVEN get me started about people taking for an assumption that "Skully" is female. Even if Skully is a legit other Masky, the "hair" in that pic is dubious at best.)

If there was more than one person prancing around in a mask, we would have had way, way more evidence of it by now. The closest we've ever got is the tenuous connection of the Masky's hoodie from the twitpic being similar to the hoodie we see Jay wearing (and that's assuming, like, Tim didn't change his damn clothes at least once in the intervening months). IF there is another Masky, if it's anyone, it's probably Jay. Which is the only theory that makes logical sense and actually has some support when it comes to multiple Maskies, and even then it's still on pretty shaky ground.
