Green Lantern movie ARG
Is there even gonna be one?

Does anybody know anything bout a Green Lantern movie-related ARG?

Warner Bros. is into the ARG kind of thing as The Dark Knight demonstrated so, I wonder...

I got promotional mail about the movie, and all I remember seeing is the usual sweepstakes plus an online interactive game, which I didn't check out, but I believe it was like a fighter video game, probably in Flash. There was no ARG. (Next time i'm checking my email, i'll see if I still have the link)

btw, it's easy enough to sign up for a mailing list. I happened to join one of the websites during the 2012 movie ARG, and have gotten handfuls of emails every week, for every movie release Sony cares to promote. Many of them do link you to a movie's website, but only rarely is there a "in story" or "extended experience" site, and even few of them are what I would call an ARG. The most recent example would be an email promoting the latest trailer for "Battle for Los Angeles", which included a link to http://www.reportthreats.org/ (We already have a thread for that one, please don't reply here about it)

Back to Green Lantern, I think if someone here had a trailhead, it would already be posted. There really isn't need to ask if anyone knows something.

(edit to fix the movie title)

Cather, the woodhead
Thanks for replying anyway...

Catherwood,

You know what a 'newbie' is, right?

Give the guy a break and try to get a life, will ya?

p.d. Also, try understanding the meaning of the words 'tolerance' and 'humbleness'...

I asked the same question about two months ago:
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=30842
No trailhead was found though.

I didn't mean to be insulting, sorry if it came across that way.

I mentioned being on a mailing list: since November, I've gotten at least five emails promoting the Green Hornet movie, with the following links:
http://www.greenhornetmovie.com/ (trailers)
http://www.greenhornetmovie.com/sweepstakes/ (win movie tickets)
http://www.thegreenhornetgame.com/ (play a game online)
http://www.sonypictures.com/mobile/ (download a game app)

I didn't poke around any of those sites to see if there was any kind of extended world in them. These days, trailheads by a major studio just aren't all that subtle.

 NO. WAY. Sheeeeeeze!
LOL! ROFL!

Catherwood... Catherwood... You're such a greenhorn... A newbie in fact... I should've known... You're a girl, right?

I bet you wouldn't know between a HORNET and a LANTERN even if they weren't green-colored...

Have a nice life.

Better still... Have a nice No-life.

lol um that's a different movie there. green LANTERN isnt even out yet, so an ARG could still be in the makings
havent heard anything about it though

oh boy, do i feel stupid now.
*blush*

I know the difference, really i do :) I swear people in chat even commented on how it's too close to the movie release for there to be an ARG, so I... nope, i have no excuses.

Green Hornet: two dudes, black car, no tights; movie already out, no ARG
Green Lantern: one dude of many, with tights; movie coming, no ARG (yet)

still, with an expected release date of 17 June 2011, they've really run out of time to start any large-scale ARG, but it doesn't rule out a short-term promotional website with some interactivity to unlock extras.
