Oh, goodie! More bootlegging of ARG swag that others earned/traded for? Yay!!! Rolling Eyes Seriously, though... I really hope all of this DIY and reproduced swag is as blatantly homegrown as ape & Steve's GA's. The influx of folks who weren't around to actually play the game and hence, earn the swag (or comparable swag to use as trade fodder) who are now going through the motions of making up their own stuff is beginning to worry me. But again, as long as it is different from the officially released items, I suppose it's not that big a deal. Otherwise, it really de-values the earned prizes.

Or we played the game. Such as i did with the Arcade Aid Challenge.
And it told me to watch my mailbox, And nothing showed.
If the swag is gone? Take those messages off !

For as de-value, I'm offering name your price.
And nobody wants the Cash!
Go Figure?

To those of you making your own swag, i give you much praise! But I encourage all of you who do so to take Shaved_Apes mentality... Make it an obvious reproduction.

IE... How about slightly over-sized 89 pins?! I mean seriously, who wouldn't want bigger 89 pins? ...sign me up!

Where did this come from? and where do i get one?
Sam's Necklace
They Ship from Taiwan but are still great! Only think I wish was different is that the corner of the movie version had a triangle that illuminated. I would have liked this triangle to be represented and made of reflective material. Easy add on I guess if you don't mind buying a whole roll of blue reflective tape...
Have you checked with him about a group discount?
Good call!

I'd be down for a necklace as long as it is not overly expensive. What price range are you thinking it will be in?

I think I paid $30 for mine. So not more than that.

p.s. If you don't remember what the tryptich posters are, they are the 3 posters that when put together make 1 big image. They are all 27x40 full theatrical size issued by the studio. Remember I am still waiting to hear from the company, so I will not officially accept any offers until I hear back from the company.
where did you get those?

Haha just realized I never answered this. I bought mine from movieposters.com. If you buy their bundle which has all 3 there is a $15 discount I think as opposed to buying them all separately. They have raised the price since the movie came out. They didn't have a bundle before the movie came out, but they were selling them individually for $20. Hope this helps everyone!!

p.s. Forgot to mention that when I contacted them about replacing my damaged replacement poster (does this sound like top spin media or what?) they said that all of their clu/lightjet posters have some kind of damage to them so it was not even worth sending another one. Nothing you would notice in a frame, but still worth mentioning.

That's all I'm saying. Make it distinguishable from the swag we all earned.

And yes, I would be all over an oversized 89 pin. Razz

hell...

Hell, just to make it different and distinguishable from the pin, I would TOTALLY be down with an 89 forever belt buckle.

If you are going to make it oversized, make it the size of the flynn lives pin.
