Plot possiblity

First off Hi Cathy and welcome.

So after reading this guys apparent spoiler it reminded me of the movie coming out in February called "I Am Number Four". Here is the link to the trailer (If interested). Basically the movies plot is about 9 teenagers with superpowers being hunted and kill after they escaped from somewhere, wonder if he just took a basic plot from another film and tried to link it to the super 8 teaser.

I love M. Night Shyamalan to death (I'm probably the only person who loved "Lady in the Water," but I thought it was fun!), but when I heard the implausible plot spoiler for "The Happening," that the plants were making people suicide, I got very nervous. Then I was terribly disappointed by the reality of it. So now I'm a little paranoid about any movie I think is going to be good. Hence my fears about this so-called "spoiler."
