That is some really hardcore spec...but now that I look at it like that, I find myself believing it.

A big friggin magnet is how you deal with it.
... I have to say, theDuder's words ring true. (There's a sentence I never thought I'd string together...) I've noticed pretty much the same things in the past few days.
While I'm not entirely certain that the SP and Dana are the same... I do think the three of them (SP, Melissa, Dana) are connected by more then previously thought.

1) In Dana's new blog entry she puts "The new happy ending to her Perdita story made me — well, happy. Really happy. Dazzlingly happy."
And on the updated onceuponatime page, the SP, puts down "When I am dazzlingly glad to be alive, I do this "
quote]
Or perhaps they have the same script writer.

Or perhaps Dana is just quoting the SP...
That is a possibility I suppose. Some modes of communication are infectious, and Fairy Tales would be one of those...
Just look over in the SPArmy thread...

I agree that if this dazzlingly word is in fact a coincidence it would be Dana quoting the SP (as she obviously read the onceuponatime page), but even so, there are many other instances which point towards the fact that indeed, the SP and Dana are intertwined with one another a lot more than we think.... and definitely worth while looking into (which is what i'm still doin.....)

It's not the first time Dana has quoted the SP. As cuddly as the cat, as charming as the butterfly. However I'm not convinced that there's anything more to it than that.

dana is human Dana is not the SP.
Dana is not an alter ego created by the SP.
Dana quotes the phrases the SP uses so that we, the players, know that she has been reading the stuff the SP writes.
Dana is a character in this game who, until the trouble with the ATM card arose, has been acting almost solely as a newbie guide. She is spelling things out as clearly and directly as she can for the players.
We don't know that Dana hasn't been in contact with her family, in fact, if you read her blog she mentions emailing friends and family to see if they know anyone in certain remote locations.

I am pretty sure that Dana's just echoing the Sleeping Princess' sentiments, and also letting us know she has seen the specific page where it's been revealed.

[SPEC]I agree, what if the SP is an amazingly advanced AI and created the whole ilovebees.com/Dana/SP thing to help Melissa's reconstruction?[/SPEC]
[WILD SPEC]Or ooo what if Dana is an amazingly intelligent genius, and this entire this is concocted up by her as a hoax?
Or *gasp* what if there's a group of people who made up Dana who made up the whole thing as a hoax???[/WILD SPEC]
if you didn't guess..
[/HUMOUR]
sorry, there's just so many parallels in ilovebees that you can pretty much draw any kind of spec you want ... hehe the whole spying thing, recursing that the PM's are spying on us as we spy on Melissa as she spies on Durga as she spies on the characters... or the progression - Durga = Melissa = Sleeping Princess = Dana = PMs
hehe ah well... back to serious talk now...

[WILDER SPEC]Or .. this whole thing is NOT a game!
Bungie has had this AI from the future trapped for years. Using it to create the stories that surrounded their games (and maybe even help in the programming department on and off). Now it's finally gotten free (though it took quite a beating in the process), linked itselft back to its future component and it trying to warn us all of the reality of the Covenant and their impending attack.
yep .... [/HUMOR] .... maybe .......

So you're saying that Melissa is actually the Disembodied Soul from bungie.net?
-- Steve'd include a link, but alas can't access bungie.net from work. Look in their company history to find out more.
