Gamejacks & Spin-offs A place to post MH inspired videos, youtube channels, etc I suggested this earlier in the week and quite a few people liked the idea, so here it is.
Use this thread to post links to any videos, Youtube channels, twitter accounts or anything else that seems to be inspired by Marble Hornets.
The aim is to build a little database of all such links. We'll then try and either confirm if they're genuinely part of the MH story (which will be very few), are gamejacks trying to pose as part of the story, or simply things other people have made in the style of / inspired by Marble Hornets.
If you find something that fits, check here first to see if it's already been posted and if not, add it to the list!
Try and include a small description with your links explaining why it's relevant, whether it's worth checking out or not, etc. Remember, this isn't just an excuse to mock the poor MH imitations; there's some pretty creative stuff out there too!

here's a bunch to start the ball rolling:

Seems to be a gamejack as it references MH directly. Also incorporates a separate (but very limited) website:

Not overly impressive, but there's been several uploads made already, so the guy behind it may be putting a fair amount of effort in.

Makes creepy TTA-style videos and leaves cryptic, vaguely threatening comments on random people's accounts. A bit pretentious, but the video's aren't too badly done.

Had initially been another blatant MH gamejack. However, the guy has since apparently given up and now posts video guides detailing how to cheat at MMORPGs. I'm not sure which is worse.
WORTH WATCHING? = 0% (Unless you have no morals and want an unfair advantage at Runescape).

Inspired by MH rather than a full-on gamejack. Very simple, naive, and blatantly filmed with very little scripting or planning. No flashy special effects (though there is some creative make-up), just a girl talking to the camera about creepy things happening.
WORTH WATCHING? = 25%

Just a thought, but there IS a whole section on Unfiction designated for Slenderman Mythos games/serieses/etc. We should direct games that seem worth-watching towards that section of the forum, as it's more appropriate than discussing every Slender-spinoff in THIS forum like we used to!

True, but I thought this may potentially cut down on people posting new threads whenever they come across something they think may be related to MH. It's happened a few times recently, which is why I thought of this.

Nono, I totally agree! I mean stick a link in the first post or something pointing people towards the other subforum, or some such way of letting the people who post these things know there might be a friendlier forum out there for 'em.

It's a parody of MH.

It got better after that. That was the only $20 thing put in it. I talked to the guy who made it, and he said he won't use it again becuase its lame.
Trust me, it gets better.

An eminent transmission? Oh my stars and garters, I do hope it's a handsome General of some noble sort. I do declare, this terrible southern belle impression is giving me the vapors.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed the eminent misuse of the word eminent.

To be fair, it CAN be used in that particular sentence, but it would have been like saying 'a gun in a house somewhere in America is loaded' and totally is not what he meant to type.

I still remember when gamejacks like that happened every couple of weeks. Guess that they're finally back -- we had a nice break!
