Jeff said they've heard sirens. I don't think that necessarily means the boys hear sirens every time Slender Man is near. We'll have to ask.

Oh, my bad. I thought the question they were answering was about things they experience every time. I would be interested in knowing how often they hear the sirens and the children though.

 		Doppelgangers, not alternate timeline. The original EMH are stuck in a dimensional trap repeating loops as a form of abstract prison while their shapeshiftering alters are creating games to lure in new victims to the trap.

That's...brilliant. And a bit worrisome for us rabbits. But what about Jessa? Maybe she was taken to the same place as the original EMH crew, but for some reason they were unable to create a doppelganger of her, so they came up with the story of her being taken by Skinnybuns.

Hating on the alternate dimesion stuff some more, maybe it's just a lot "simpler" than that. House of Leaves, for what we can tell, doesn't really deal in alternate realities(sorta maybe?) but more of a reality bending experience, but one reality.

In other news, does someone who has a good dialouge with Alex care to ask him a little bit of when they discovered Jessa went missing? I'd email Jeff, but I don't think he'd answer.

According to the wiki, she went missing sometime between August 8th and August 15th.

Didz used to talk with Alex a lot, but nobody has heard from her in over a week :/

 		Although I agree with the time span, I think the we're really kinda guessing on the wiki for those dates.


That aside, I'm trying to see if we can pinpoint IG when she disappeared and place that against the info we do have, like tweets and vids.

I'm sure it's probably a dead end, but a lot seemed to happen in the middle of august and I really think there is more for us to find out with Jessa and her disappearance, especially since Steph got that voicemail nearly a month after Jessa disappeared.

I think that she did disappear in August, since so many people noticed that she went missing around that time. That Steph only received the voice mail in September -- a time at which she was almost hysterical with worry and grief not to mention being hounded by asshole cops -- just proves that Slender Man is a sadistic fuck. She would have been excited to get a voice mail from Jessa's phone number, and then to hear her friend being kidnapped? Jesus Christ. I'd save the voice mail too.

Well, we know she disappeared on or after August 8, since she went on a stroll outside Lambertville with Jeff that day.

We also know she disappeared on or before August 19, since that's when Vince told us Jeff had run off in search of her.

The really interesting data point is in the middle there, on August 15, when Damsel was asked if she'd seen Jessa lately. Somebody had some reason to be looking for her at that point, so I think it's fair to assume she went missing a day or two before that.

I just noticed that the caption on one of the August 8 pics is "Another shot from River Drive. (Also nearby Washington's Crossing State Park.) Haha, hiking video anyone?" That could be read as Jeff suggesting it as a possible location for a future video similar to DitL, but it also could be confirmation that this is the same general area where DitL was shot. I don't know the geography of the area at all, and I suck at telling one woodsy area apart from another.

So, was the August 8 stroll in the same general vicinity as "Day in the Life"? If so, were Jeff and Jessa out for just an innocent late-summer stroll or were they maybe following up on something? Did they maybe wake something up that led to Jessa's abduction?

edit: That "have you seen Jessa" post on CYSTW is actually kind of creepy. Did we have any info on Jessa not answering her phone from the guys? Or was it one the guys that asked?

Good point, Ouroborus. I'd forgotten that we now know where DitL was shot, and it's not outside Lambertville.

I don't recall us hearing anything about how Jeff knew Jessa had gone missing, and the CYSTW question is attributed to Anonymous. Very creepy indeed.
