Tekyro, but do feel free to call me by my IRL name, Dave.

Availability: Usually available in the evenings once I'm back from school.

I'm fluent in binary, but there'll be a binary-ASCII converter somewhere on the web, so that's pretty useless. I'm fairly logical, well, good at reasoning anyway. I'm also reasonably knowledgeable about chemistry and mathematics, and know smatterings of several languages.

Time Zone: I'm from Scotland, so GMT.

I'm Salkovich.

I've been lurking since season two started and just made the decision to become active (this board needs more rational, articulate members to keep the chaos down.)

I'm an english major, so I don't have many applicable skills to sifting out video stuff/comp stuff. However, I am damn good at analysis of characters and actions.

-5 GMT

Just signed up after lurking for a while, and this seemed like the best place to start. So, uh, here goes.

Activity: I have no life. Chances are, I'll be around, some way or another. My timezone is Eastern USA.

Skills: I am a music addict, so I'm good at finding songs. I'm also pretty good with symbolism and literary references. I do some writing, so... possibly helpful? Other people brought it up, so I figure I could mention it.

I know people that are good with languages, so while I'm not the greatest with different languages, I do know people that are.

I know a little about psychology, so that might come in handy.

So yeah. I don't know if that will help or not.

balls, I'm tired.

Name:
VioletViolet, VV

Activity:
Semi-active. Sometimes I can MH for hours.. sometimes I'm just way too busy with work & getting drunk. If I don't have too much to do at work, I log onto MH too, but that's not very often.

Skills:
Well, I'm observant & completely logic based. I can put two & two together.. & be very blunt about it.

I've realised that I ask questions that uncover shit no one really thinks about.. but if you say something stupid then I will tell you that you're being stupid.

Other Stuff:
I think I'm the biggest potty mouth up in this bitch.
Just finished high school. Loves philosophy and conspiracy theories. Avid smoker. Loves dogs.

I like naps.

Timezone: Whatever Sydney, Australia is. GMT+10, I think?

Hey I'm semifamous! I'm new, so I'm active but working around sports and music. I'm in Central time.

I'm working entirely off an iPod so I can't do much as far as audio or visual investigating. Mostly I'm just good for coming up with a large number of theories and "peer mediating" other users as to prevent ragequits... I'll simply try to do whatever I can to continue the intelligent conversation Smile

Hello. I just discovered Marble Hornets on Youtube. This is my first ARG, so I'll probably be lurking a good bit, at least at first. I'm on eastern time, but I work third shift, so I'll be on more in the mornings and evenings. My schedule is more variable on weekends.

I don't have as much to offer as some, but if something occurs to me, I'll be sure to speak up. I have an English degree, so I might notice literary references. I've taken a few college-level linguistics courses, so I might be able to decipher puzzles or riddles relating to language. English is my primary language, but I know a little French.

Thanks to piano lessons, chorus, and a love of music, I might be able to contribute to discussions regarding sound. I also have minimal Photoshop experience and extremely limited HTML experience. I'm pretty good at research as well, and have a good friend with a biomedical background that I could run science questions by.

I also tend to approach things from a different perspective. Perhaps that could partially be attributed to years of tabletop gaming and larping. I can be very resourceful at times when I put my mind to something.

Time will tell if there is anything else I know that might come in handy. I can't wait to see how this game continues to unfold. The videos had me terrified and hooked from the moment I started watching them.

So I'm Playmer, you can also call me by my real name Josh, or one of my other alias' Lord_Twilgiht or Twilight (I made it before those freaking books came out. *Grumble* )

I guess I'm good at analysis, cause I made those pictures comparing the hallway in each entry.

My main specialty? I guess my ability to just break something down to its core facts, what happened and what didn't. I often find merit in the many different theories, but i don't often find myself making any. I guess I typically like to help people come to a solid logical conclusion.

I have some ability with audio editing. I've produced podcasts before. I've just recently started to cut my teeth on video editing. Trying to edit together Marble Hornets together for friends either without internet, or computers that can't handle youtube, but have a DVD player, or PS3 to be able to watch a file/DVD I make for them to watch.

I've had musical training in school, however I never picked up the intricacies of it. I love music, and I loved playing music and singing it, however, I was never good, and never got to learn the mechanics, it's unlikely that I would be able to help with a musical puzzle.

Edit: Also, where do you guys chat about this stuff a bunch? PMs? I log onto the IRC, but no ones ever on. I've been looking to see if theres anything I could look into for you guys, but nada.

this is an awesome idea. its like a meet and greet lol
i'm Alexander

Active all the time until spring due to the fact that my job is seasonal and we do nothing during the winter......damn snow.

I do more reading of the forums than I do posting but if I see something that makes sense, i will comment and build upon it. I love throwing theories and ideas around. I'm huge on music and have a little bit of experience with cleaning up audio. I have a good eye for picking up on odd details.

Time Zone- Eastern standard gmt-5 i believe

Hi! I just discovered unfiction and fell in love right away with your Marble Hornets stuff - I LOVE LOVE LOVE the series.

Anyway, I'm Silentium. I'm available most of the time during the evening, but I have class during the day so it's a bit erratic.

My skills - hmm. I'm very observant and tend to be able to spot small things in videos. I also can watch videos over and over again to find the small clues - I'm very patient(I've watched Entry 22 about 7 times trying to piece together the audio - no luck DSmile

Time zone: EST.

Nice to meet you all Smile

Smile Hey dudes I'm ktron10, I'm pretty active. I'm observant, can research, am decent at interpretation, and have a pretty good memory. I watch every MH as soon as it comes out, and I'm well educated in the Slender Man Mythos. If Slendy was real, I'd know enough to be one of the first to go. That's it, ciao.

Hi, I'm Leamony, and I'm an alc... Hi.

Availability: Lurker.
I'm on a lot, and I read most of what you write, but I don't have much to say myself. That may or may not change over time.

Stuff: I'm good with visual things. I can edit stuff pretty decently in Photoshop, and I'm quick to pick out visual anomalies. Strangely enough, there isn't a lot of that going on in Marble Hornets when it comes to actual puzzle solving.

I have a bit of experience with code breaking. I can figure out simple ciphers in a few minutes, provided it's actually in English. Buuuut there isn't a lot of code breaking going on here, either.

I have the qualities of a stalker. I remember where you live, what you look like, what habits you have, and you shouldn't give me any of your personal information because I'll just use it to look at satellite pictures of your house. That being said, I'm good at finding people.

My biggest asset is probably that if you get cold during the winter, I can knit you a nice hat.

My Timezone is GMT-7. I think. Mountain Time. I live in the mountains most of the time.

Hi I'm pretty new here myself.

I guess in terms of skill (that's relevant at least) I'm pretty good with audio and certain puzzles although usually the ones that I can do with my hands.

I lurk a lot this is probably gonna be like my last post for a while but I'm on here every day. I think my only useful skill would be that i kind of act as a scribe. I have about three or four pages of fact, and speculation. some of it my own most of it what other people have said.

Hola, I'm cake. I mean TheCake. Anyway, this is my first ARG, but I've always liked to solve puzzles and do decoding work.
I'll probably be fairly active, now that I finally got an account. I tend to obsess over things, and theoriorize alot.
Skills...ahh... well, I've got a photographic memory, kind of. It's the type where I can easily retain information in the written form. If I read a book I can usually summerize it, remember quite a few details and pick out some phrases. Not sure how this'll help much, but Razz. I've got minamal photoshop knowledge and have A LOT of free time.
Time zone. Eastern Pacific, I believe.
Anyway. TheCake, reporting for duty~
