[Puzzles] Musical Occurrences

So, I've been following this one since I picked it up from some other thread... the puzzles thus far haven't been too difficult (Pass through Rot-X clears them right up).

However, this most recent one has me stumped. I have to run out so I don't have a lot of time to give it a thorough examination, but I figured you guys might have a bit of fun with it.

I tried Rot-X and looking for a pattern of some kind, but nothing stood out to me. Since I'm new to these things, I figured someone with more experience could point out the "Oh, duh!" moment that I'm missing. >.>;

Good luck!

I don't know much about codes, but just looking at it, I'd say the punctuation and even spacing are part of the code. Especially since the blogger typed it up instead of posting a picture.

Perhaps this could go in Timewasters too? I mean, they're pretty good with codes and stuff.

Well, I hate double-posting in any forum I'm on, but here's what someone from Timewasters said:

I'm not sure which one you would like us to look at. The one at the top today is just a series of threes -- that's a puzzle?

Solve it within a week, or never see him again.

Skip, skip, skip.

The one below it is solveable.
Code:
Aol nlnd?e  wtL hoyece uadsrat y s iaasmf etf eiprnr doyibonluge  mfysio.gu u Wraie l pltr hoyiboslu e omlu.it s Ctaoetmn e s tutono r uitssh ees. t pi

I won't paste the solution here, but I'll give you a methodology for solving it:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you start with the uppercase L and take every third letter as a new line, the vertical columns will spell words. There may be an error with the beginning of the string, or it is intended to wrap around to the bottom somehow. Remember to preserve the spaces when you do it this way.

hmn. Just a cursory glance shows that riafyalp! is play fair! backwards, but that doesn't seem to work for the rest of it.
Gonna go read the blog and see what people are sayin...

It could be a Playfair Cipher? There's a nice even amount of letters, so it could be. But I don't know what the key would be.

If it is a playfair then the keymaker on that page gives "reverse alphabet" as an option for the key. That would make sense since "playfair" was written in reverse. Or maybe we still need to find a keyword and reverse it?

Confirmed Playfair from tweet:

Yep, definitely Playfair. There's an even number of letters. Now to sort them into pairs...

And now he's asking for information on Mr. Slim, and I guess Slim ain't too happy with him. I'll give him some links to The Tutorial and Seeking Truth later, any other suggestions I could give to him?

Well, I think we need to solve this fairly quickly - hes going pretty nuts!

I've tried a few keywords on the Playfair cipher -
Thehowler - forward and reverse
James - forward and reverse
locust - forward and reverse
musicaloccurances - forward and reverse

I dunno - nothing works...
