I'm reading through CYSTW again, trying to reconcile times and what not with the timeline.

It's really creepy how that when Steph goes off her pills seems to be when buisness picks up with the guys. Infact, using the general statement they gave in the ustream(the videos are usually go up a week after they're filmed), you can say that our introduction to CYSTW happened on the same day as Steph's tweet regarding her meds.


Taking a parallell from this, I know IG Jeff had only recently seen Donnie Darko, but I wonder if PM Jeff had seen it before. In DD, the Tangent Universe isn't created when the engine falls from the sky, but when Donnie takes his pills.

So Jeff and Jessa returned to the scene of the DitL weirdness just a couple of days at most before Jessa disappeared. I'm guessing that's also the area where they found the tree bags in the hidden clip in Centralia. So, was the August 15 just an innocent hike or a recon mission?

I'd toyed with the idea that they might have been intentionally trying to draw Slendy out, not realizing at that point exactly how dangerous he is, but the voicemail makes it sound like Jessa was caught unawares and hadn't really believed the stories up to the point where she was abducted. Any other theories?

And speaking of the areas, Jeff has (I think) a couple of times referred to an area where palettes were laid down in DitL. He mentioned it in a twitpic caption, at least, and I think he mentioned it in the Green Feathers video. I'm guessing the palettes were what looks sort of like a boardwalk in DitL? Any idea why they might be significant?

I'm still a little shocked at the disconect from Jeff to Steph, via Jessa. Not
that it would have been answered, but I should have submitted a question to Steph about the "we were all supposed to meet up" statement.

We can only assume that it was Jessa who was behind it. She was the only one at the time that was aware of Steph's past(maybe? But certainly of HIM) and of the guys stuff(I guess, you'd think she'd watch the videos and that Jeff would talk to her about it...)

We don't have enough on Jessa to really know her, that stinks since it might give us an idea on what went down with her.

What I'm thinking is this:

August 8th: Jeff and Jessa take a stroll. Possibility of Slendy seeing her and making her a target.
August 9th-13th: Slendy starts stalking Jessa. She is aware of it and very, very freaked out.
August 13th-14th: Jessa can't take it anymore and takes off. No clue why she didn't tell Jeff. Slendy somehow communicated with her?
August 15th: IG Jeff, as Anon, asks Damsel (who he knows is a friend of Jessa) if she's seen Jessa.
August 19th: Jeff takes off to find Jessa.
September 4th: Jeff returns. "Reunion" is posted.
Mid-September: Jessa, wherever she is, gets the courage to call Damsel. Slendy is close behind and gets her.
Between Mid-September and October 16th: The events of "Congratulations Magus!.avi" occur. are wiped from Jeff and Vince's memories, and somehow added to the video sent to Magus.

What do you think, everyone...?

If they cannot see parts of videos, why not just ask them to put an hour glass in front of the screen when they are seeing the video? Also, put a camera filming the hour glass from the side.

So, looking back through the series, and this thread, I have a theory on HABIT.

HABIT seemingly is able to possess people, which would explain Evan being a complete and utter psycho. Okay, more of a psycho than usual.

However, it dawned on my that peoples behaviour has been erratic throughout the series, and that HABIT, at one point or another, may have possessed most of the EMH crew.

Vinnie, for example, has at some point been in contact with

Except that we don't know that Vinnie put the cell phone in there deliberately or that any of the characters problems are caused by anything except their own flaws. Yeah, plenty of it could be caused by HABIT, but right now we don't have evidence for that. For all we know, Evan may be on a daily regimen of risperidone for his crazypants tendencies and the boys just don't feel like sharing that kind of intimate information with us.

Now, that last one isn't very likely, considering the undeniably supernatural happenings, but still.
