No more! No more shall I suffer the flamers, trolls and gamejackers; no more shall I try to point people in the direction of the information they are trouting for the nth time; no more shall I explain for the 100th time that we aren't 100% on the identity of Masky/TTA and ask that we stop arguing about it until we know more information; no more! Shan't.

Awww, but then you miss such magical moments as troll ragequits, and epic image analyses!

I mean, we may kind of talk ourselves in circles, but we do eventually find something new... I guess. XD

I just don't think I can bring myself to do it anymore! Crying or Very sad

Still, I suppose if #34 provides us with even more juicy content then I may be able to stretch it to page 25 Razz.

Young adventurer, take this magical crystal of +10 skimming. It will serve you well!

Seriously, though, I wouldn't be too worried about them. Their attention spans are relatively short, if they're bugging you, ignore them and read a different thread, or take a break and then skim. They wouldn't be trouting if they had actually paid attention, 99% of the time, right?

This does keep going in circles, inevitably every thread kind of devolves into the same generic topic that we've been muddling around on. (Mostly it revolves around Totheark these days, it seems!) Feel free to skim and then just not reply! Sometimes not feeding the derpiness will help it to die down.

And in the meantime, if you enjoy chatting with someone else on the forum, you can always do that, instead. Far more enjoyable than baiting trolls and trouters. Encouraging the smart newbies is another pastime that I enjoy as well. Very Happy

Wisdom, I suppose.

Are you sure you two aren't the same person?

My only fear is the following - I skim read and miss something important, and so the troutee becomes the trouter! Trout
I just use uF to help me through the long days at work. If all there is to distract me is the old teleportation debate, I guess I get a bit antsy...

It's then up to us to lead the conversation to something else that interests us, I suppose! It's difficult when we know that there's less of an ARG element and more of just a story telling thing going on this season; when the safe came up, we thought perhaps we could help somehow.

It would be neat if we could interact with the characters in some fashion; even if Jay doesn't attend to all of his mail, it would be interesting to see him respond to one in a hundred messages, or just at random, or something! That would definitely give us something to talk about amongst ourselves while we wait for new entries. It was really exciting, for example, when I sent a message to totheark and got a reply. Very Happy That totally made my day, or week, or something.

Since I have a feeling that they've just decided to completely nix the interactive element, I suppose that the best we have while we're waiting in the interim is to, like Mantisbot was doing, go back and look more closely, and fix up for other newbies who are just showing up.

Oh god someone talk to me I'm so freaked out

I was looking at a bunch of Slenderman stuff and was getting in that weird state where small things startle me but don't fully scare me.

Then I decided to turn my head to the left and look behind me. Now, when I strain my left eye too much, there's a small blind spot in my vision. That blind spot ended up right on a huge pile of blankets.

Do you know what a huge pile of blankets looks like when there's a strange blackness in it? It's really not nice, I can tell you that. .-.

Worst of all, the red sleeping bag was riiiiiiight where Slendy's tie would be!

Wait, really? It looks red to me. At least, in the Marble Hornets universe.

There was some debate about this in a thread a couple a of weeks ago. I'll try and dig it up as theres some pretty conclusive evidence on way or the other.

In a more-off-topic-than-most request: my friend and I co-host a 2-hour college radio show and are planning on doing a MH/Slenderman-themed show. If anyone has any song ideas(related either by lyrics, song title, etc.), it'd be much appreciated.
