The Slenderman that they showed in one of the more recent ones was horrible. Seriously. Unless they pull a Dark Harvest and just make it someone dressed like him, in which case it'll, well, be a rip off of Dark Harvest.

Is there any particular reason people still watch this? I don't mean to be a troll, or offensive, I just don't see the appeal, personally. There's nothing that this vlog really brings to the table that you can't get somewhere else, and probably ten times better at that.

New Video

For a little bit, I thought they had some good moments where it could turn into a semi decent series, but after this one, I don't think there's much hope here.

New video.

A spoiler is given away in the description:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
turns out one of the girls (I think the one who went missing a while back) is responsible for some of the stalking, and is probably the one responsible for a certain amount of knife nastiness.

However: nothing prepared me for the ending of this one.[/url]

I totally forgot about this story. I've yet to watch the whole thing, but I saw the video in my subscriptions. I have to say the tree thing was well done. I think the girl's reaction is a little too subdued though

This is definitely second in line to where their friend dies from choking on ketchup. They need to get better editing quality, you see Jake slow down after he starts running, then it cuts and then he's running at full pace again, the tree thing was just a mere softener to the blow i experienced from the entire video, nobody goes around touching garbage cans, at least normal people don't, they need to get more realistic about how they handle things, not running away from a dieing friend and reacting to a friend falling out of the sky.

I'll break this down into sections.

I'll admit the 'blood' was a little on the weak side. Looked more like Slendy-jizz to me, but it got the point across. Throat slashed, corpse drug away. It conveyed what it needed to. They do this on an obviously small to non-existent budget, quit complaining.

Ok I will admit there that the cut was a little rough, but Jake is a big guy, cut him some slack eh? Wink

.......wow this section hurt my brain. WATCH the video. He's touching an operator symbol carved into the top of the garbage can. If you actually watched this series you would know that is also where the knife in question was stabbed into the can waaaaay back in the beginning.

Herp i'm going to try and fight an obviously supernatural creature that already killed one of my friends to try and save what will be a corpse in less than ten seconds derp. Lrn2logic bro.

I was plenty pleased with how they handled that.

Overall, do I think the series is a masterpiece? No. Its an independent series made by a bunch of friends and supplied to the masses FOR FREE with no return in investment but the enjoyment derived from making it. When the hell did society become so ungrateful and cynical? Christ!

Maybe I didn't get my point across the first time because apparently I was too busy smoking my crack pipe. OH WAIT! That was you.

Here's the deal: these guys just need to stop.

Let's take the most recent video as a typical example of their work: we see our hero locked in an epic battle of wits with a waste receptacle, upon which he finds an operator symbol. Fair enough. He turns to see a dark figure. Ominous. He immediately gives chase. However, then he stops, looks both ways before crossing the grass and continues. I feel like Noreen had to slow down so that Jake could catch up, but whatever.

Once Jake manages to tackle her to the ground, notice the smile and slight chuckle at 1:02. Character trait due to her being insane? In reality, more like trying to hold in the giggles considering the ridiculousness of seeing her boyfriend chilling in a tree. That said, what's the obsession in this series of having people fall out of the sky? First Matt, now Mark? Did the not-so-slender man of the Jan. 13th video suddenly become the stork?

I just don't see the appeal of this series really.

Sorry if I'm sounding unkind, but I do believe I'm entitled to my opinion.

Once you resort to name-calling, you lose an intelligent debate. Those are the rules, sir.

And I'll leave it at that.

I was debating you? Oh sorry. All I saw was someone complaining on the unforums about their opinion of an internet series that no one is forcing them to watch.
