I'm sure it took a bit of time, but it is VERY helpful.

THANK YOU!

southern creekraw or creek raw or
the pretender or eric carle or circle drummers or

I accidently searched creecraw instead of creekraw and got: "Cree Craw Toads Foot, Geese Walk Barefoot" from the television series, The Pretender; (some others credit it to a german nursery rhyme, but I can't nail it down.) Also got onto some children's book author or artist named Eric Carle.???

Or Native American Southern Cree (singers drummers (music starts around 4 mins in))

Finished the Tweets section on the wiki...

http://hat-shoe.wikia.com/wiki/Tweets

I spent hours copying and pasting and trying to make it look nice...then when I hit "save", Wikia put everything into one huge non-stop block of text. So then I went through and separated everything and cleaned it up the best I could, but the spacing is still weird and confusing.

If someone with more wiki experience wants to clean it up, be my guest.

Despite how sick of Twitter I am right now, figured I'd mention...couple new WoC tweets:

Quote:
For heaven sakes, WHEN?

Quote:
@hydrargyrumA Perhaps we've met before

Quote:
@ClocktowerKing We probably wouldn't try to steal.

Finally got a reply from HatShoe!

Me:

Friend,

It has been a long time. Nearing a year in fact.
I want you to know you haven't been forgotten.
On my mind, just not always in the front.

Sorry.

HS:

Apologies not necessary
Friends are friends
Inside minds or out
I hope you are well, kind one!

Just a kind thought, I doubt there's actually anything useful in it.

Awesome! Thanks for suffering for the collective good airportdisco!

The "for heaven sakes" tweet repeat is bugging me, why didn't he write "for heaven's sake"?

Another day, another clue that goes over my head I guess.

got a reply today.

So, I got a reply today that seems to be to two things I sent him recently.
I was directly replying to the 'He eats you once you retire" email with this little personal experience.

He didn't get me that night at least. As always, I find your situation compelling.

Atentamente,

This is me trying to be obtuse and sounding a little silly I think.

Dear HatShoe,

I wish not to neglect our concordance! I believe the beginning has appeared again. My mind is a bit batty at the moment so It's hard to tell. Maybe we'll search again sometime?

I also wish to recreate a certain dish with the aid of a few of our mutual cabalists.

I know the others from the past have mentioned doing this to you before, I believe they reneged. If our friends and I commit to do this will it aid you?

Atentamente,
[redacted]

Hs replied to the Salutations chain with the attached image below.

So I think the little block of text at the bottom is in response to the plain text email to him. Pretty open to interpretation at this point.

Another email reply

I sent the following email to hatshoe 11 days ago:

fzugua wrote:

Subject: True Story

hatshoe,

Oftentimes, when I'm trying to explain to a colleague how my mind makes sense of an abstract idea, they look at me with their head slightly tilted and their eyebrows furrowed, thusly giving away their total and utter confusion as to what I was blathering on about. Despite this, every now and then, from this tilted furrowed pose they'll smile and nod in a weak attempt at feigning comprehension.

Sometimes I explain things the way I do to get a read on how deeply the colleague may be willing to think, and whether they're able to relate to the examples I use in my explanation. Most of the time I have to resort to more pedestrian examples, which is quite boring, but doing so enables my colleagues to actually understand what I'm trying to say.

My hope is that they relate the latter explanation to the former so that, maybe, sometime down the track, the initial explanation, lus some effort on their part, will be enough.

I would like to open the door, but I was late to the party and drowned in the pool as soon as I arrived, which I find somewhat frustrating because I'm normally a proficient swimmer.

Regards,

fzugua

Klaus Nomi?
that's an odd one.

Klaus Nomi was brought up a few pages back, & someone mentioned that they had The Nomi Song in their netflix thing. I have watched it, took ages to download but I finally got it, & it's really got nothing to do with the time travel aspect that you guys were looking at. it's really about his beginnings, how he met Joey Arias, his struggle in the industry, him being a homosexual, there are a few clips of his grandmother or aunt speaking in german telling you about how he was when he was a child, him losing friends because of one of his albums, then everyone found out about AIDs. so the end of that is really a lot of people admitting that they didn't see him before he died because he had AIDs, & because he was just so weird.

they do state in The Nomi Song "he came from outer space to save the human race", & the opening scene & ending scenes are a nomi rocket crashlanding, then flying off. one of the last tales recounted in the doc, is about Klaus speaking to a little girl, how they were an odd couple & this person could imagine him coming from another planet.

Nomi was well known for his voice, he had amazing operatic ranges that he learned whilst living in Germany, & a lot of people were NOT ready for his music. it was dynamic at the time but also misunderstood. he was a very odd looking man, he had a receeding hair line, & he "marketed the odd things about his appearence" as he said in an interview once. there have been people who think he came from another planet altogether, & there are some who just think he was odd, but that's really all I can say about him.

& if you want to see something funny, look up "Oldies & Later Exploits" on youtube by Fredryk Phox. he uses the song Total Eclipse in that video. that's the first time I heard Klaus Nomi & he stuck with me. lol.
Also, about the new images in the friend gallery...they all seem to be by the same person.
What's disconcerting is that said person hasn't posted on this forum...but is obviously in at least semi-regular contact with S.
What do you think? Any way we can find him/her?
also, took a look, two do look a bit alike, one doesn't look like the other two. at least in my opinion.

how do we know that person doesn't post here? & has anyone actually made any progress in "getting a hold of said person" or whatnot?

I think I'm missing out on a lot because of work :/

jbv, i may be far wrong, but wouldn't time travel be a means by which KN might have traveled to 07 to release his unfinished opera? one of the very few things i think i know for certain about HS besides that he is aware of Isaac Asimov is that he is aware of KN.

see also http://www.zabakdaz.com/pages/myth.html (time travel in the nomi mythos is explicitly referred to)

i think you're right about the newest gallery images. might be three different artists work. it was confirmed earlier that the gallery pics were sent to him. but i would not be surprised if HS isn't behind some of them. i don't know.

what do you think about the pocket watches in teapot victim and dame? for heaven sakes WHEN? 3:00, 12:40, 11:25

ursa major
sky clock

pretty big stretch . . . but, the first thing i thought of when i saw 'peanut butter' was ursa major (big bear). it's a circumpolar constellation (that just means it spins around the north pole star polaris, like it's stuck to the hour hand of the big backward 24 hour sky clock) in the north sky. in stellarium the face of the bear is depicted facing out and will be oriented more or less like the peanut butter bear between 1:30 and 1:45 pm tomorrow. (and a few minutes later every day until it's back there again next year this time.)

parallax
over my head

one reason to follow

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallax

maybe a spark; i think there are a lot of smart folks in this forum; this is way over my head but the 'one reason' anecdotal depiction and the 'to follow' figure call to my mind PARALLAX. i'm hoping someone else comprehends it better than i do and can either tell me if i'm barking up a wrong tree (wrong forest) or there's something (anything) there . . .

this is not a weak attempt at feigning comprehension, but rather a confession that i really don't know

I don't think that hatshoe has drawn his own fan art. I just don't see that as being something that he would do. I don't even think he would request it from someone. then again it is possible that he may have. I just don't think it fits with his "personality" if you will. if he can't give us straight undiluted answers, I doubt he would bluntly ask for something from someone. at least not now.

I am not sure what the watches mean to be honest. they could symbolize times that something will happen, but what good is time without a date? confusing, it's like going further down the rabbit hole.

as far as it goes for Nomi, yes I know that time travel etc. was a part of his story. as was him coming from another world. I just don't see this fitting into the grand scheme of things. maybe there is just something I am missing. perhaps I should look into it further. anyway, if I think of anything useful I will be sure to post.
