Though I wonder... what could the "hidden treasure" possibly be?
Anyone else think Mr. Tall Guy is trying to lead them to something? (in a roundabout manner of course)

In both instances, the cast (or just Evan) bleeds after talking to.. well, something that wasn't there.

Not sure what to make of that. Theory time.

Was the thing he talked to in Slender Man (and, by extension, R&STH) the doctor, if we can judge from this? And.. does that make the doctor, HABIT? It's a possibility -- Evan speaks to whatever this thing is in a much different tone than usual, though, so perhaps they really are two separate entities.

Also, what's the nature of these blackouts? They don't seem to remember anything happening in this lost time.

And the statement in-video that 8 minutes had passed seemed kind of conspicuous to me. They could have just mentioned that in the video description. In fact, they do, and this repetition makes it all the more suspicious.

Why is this 8 minutes thing such a big deal?
What happened to the boys in 78of76.avi? Where did that time go? It didn't pass in a noticeable way, at least not to the boys. It's like I said earlier:

Somehow, the time may have been compressed and forgotten about. Outside of different timelines being created, this is the only way it makes real sense to me.

Your graph is very impressive. The 'compression' idea seems to make sense.

But... HABIT = the doctor? I'm sorry, but I don't see that. Until further proof arises I maintain that the doctor, HABIT, and Teh Slondermonz are all separate and distinct entities.

As for the Corenthal ties... oh man. I don't know. Time travel or displacement? Reincarnation? Gonna hold of speculating on my end, but they'd better have a hell of an explaination.

Back to the video - they seems to be able to see this, since they don't remeber speaking those bits. Interesting.

Just to clarify: VLC Media Player runs the morsecode video just fine, even if you don't give the file a format. Looks like it really is just the on-channel secret videos. There might be more to it than that, but as of now that's what I've seen. Maybe there's something hidden in the data? I don't know how that would work, though.

That video didn't give me chills or anything, but it definitely left me perplexed. Evan's definitely still my fav character/person in this. (considering they all seem to be pretty much playing themselves.)

I didn't even feel the Candle Cove vibe until watching it again. Heh. I wonder if that was intentional on the boys part.

Hmmm...

Call me crazy, but I don't recall Slendy ever causing people to pass out followed by a nosebleed. Same with Rake.

In fact, I'm quite certain thats from some other 'creepypasta'. Anybody have any ideas here?

Nah, this is totally Slendy's work. How much of the mythos is canon to this series we dunno, but he causes blackouts all the time in Marble Hornets, and bloody noses is Tribe Twelve's bread and butter.

An idea: Maybe the "8 minutes of darkness" is their censor coming up again? Maybe if we saw the full video we'd have a better idea of what was going on...

Was kinda annoyed at this, when I first saw the thumbnail and the title on my youtube homepage I thought "oh yay now they might actually explain some of the shit that's gone on" but alas I was denied this relief yet again.

Although on a lighter note, that was a nice creepy video. Also very good make up work to make it look like they've lost a lot of blood Very Happy

Watched the latest video. It was fairly decent, but what happened. One minute they are watching, what we can see as a very blurry screen. Next thing you know, they are on the ground... shouldn't SOMETHING HAVE HAPPENED?!?! Even a loud, high-pitched sound would've been fine. All in all it was interesting and gave the characters something to study. I didn't find it scary, or odd really. They just kind of woke up with bloody noses. I get a bloody nose sometimes, and I don't scream.

Oh well, I hope the series can go uphill after using this.

Wait? Why are they all nonchalant about being in Alex's room? I mean I wouldn't be all "Hey let's watch some moveh's in the room we know has a crazy hell beast living in the closet! Wee!"
Did I miss something? Is the Rake not still there? I know we haven't heard about any more attacks but have we heard of his departure?
