 		Can someone verify for the that the video that WestRoadSal uploaded is the ENTIRE video that Jeff posted on Mediafire? It only plays two of the four hidden clips before it cuts off, which seems strange. I haven't been successful in watching Jeff's video yet.

My guess right now is that what's going on is a combination of coincidence and conspiracy. It's a coincidence that these four people happen to know each other and have the same names as the Corenthal children. Where the conspiracy comes in is Corenthal trying to get his deceased kids back by calling their souls into the HYBRIDs - hence HYBRID in the first place, he's trying to make it so that it's his children's souls in our heroes' bodies.

But of course, doing that creates chaos. HABIT is stirred up because as the darkness inside the soul of every human being it always gets his attention when people mess with souls in that way. Similarly, the Rake and Slendy have come a-sniffin' because they can sense that there's something off about the guys.

 		I don't know if I buy the shadow as a wraithlike Corenthal.

I think it's easier to say that the attempt to watch the videos reset something in their brains and Slendy had to come and fix everything again(Ashen Waste).

 		I think Corenthal is either genuinely dead, or some sort of lurking madman on the fringes. Not SM, not controlling them. That would get too goofy-ass Lost for me, with all sorts of old fucks behind the curtain manipulating shit and ultimately doing nothing at all except diluting the mystery of the larger storyline.

I do kind of hope he is dead but has left more personal effects behind. I think the series has already had enough Lurking Crazies - first Stephanie who turned out to be benign, then HABIT and to a certain extent, the Rake.

I think Ouroborus has it right - either seeing the hidden videos made their minds snap back to the subconscious and SM stepped in to do a patch job, or he actively made them shift so he could step in.

 		I don't think they'd introduce Corenthal as a new player this late in the game; It would only make sense if he was an existing character, and is soon going to be revealed as one of them; Either as HABIT, or as Slender Man. Corenthal as HABIT would make so much fucking sense, it's uncannybrutal.

He seems like he's our last "unknown" left at this point in the game.

You'll have to explain that to me because I don't follow. I was under the impression that HABIT today is the same HABIT Corenthal writes about, either Evan or a fragment of Evan's personality.

Then again he did seem to affect Corenthal in the letters, and I am not convinced Jeff (the usual EMH tweeter) did not unconsciously tweet some of those "HABITHASBITME" etc phantom tweets himself. So maybe it is a separate entity affecting multiple people at once.

Could well be along those lines, except for one curious thing: The video did not continue after the first few seconds. It shut down. So perhaps once they were affected he shut the video down along with the kids.

The only ways I could see Corenthal are:

-inHABITed (hinted at)

-An old man who suffers from Alzheimer's who forgot that the children are dead and goes searching for them, finding the guys (plus damsel ....Steph). (But this seems to normal for this series)

-Actually dead (But noooo, that would be too easy)


I'm not sure which one I'd actually get behind, but I kind of like them all.

 		The whole 'screen going black' and acting like they were talking to someone or watching someone, especially as little kids, really makes me think of Candle Cove. Didn't Vince say that they watched it as kids? Plus, Steph said something about treasure, didn't she?

I mean, they used The Rake from creepypasta, they could be using Candle Cove too.
