Guys don't forget the trailer where the car crashes into the train. If I remember correctly the trailer never states exactly WHERE the crash took place. Not to mention that Minnesota isn't very far away from Ohio (where the train was headed). Also (I'm probably wrong but its just a thought) we never see for a fact that it was the car that was the cause of the crash. If you watch the trailer again it cuts away after the initial collision but you can see that the train is still moving fine aside from the fireball the care created. But when you see the wheels fall from the tracks the fireball is gone and the train simply crashes, in my opinion I really don't think a car would cause THAT much damage to a train. But what if the map is where the train is headed?

Do any of you guys remember Josh's drunken post on hooklineandminker? He mentions that Sarah "didn't know her dad growing up, either". Well just an idea but what if Josh's dad and Sarah's dad knew each other and her father is the other guy in the pic of Josh's supposed dad? What if Sarah's dad was the one who crashed his truck into the train? What if he knew that the foreign matter in the train would react to the crash in such a way that it would do something that would cause the train to lose its balence? I know I'm probably reaching though...

No bad - your's is a different story that shows there is still life at the FFSH grounds. I just wanted to point out that the big building hasn't been sold. You may still be right about team JJ renting some space.

I wish someone lived close enough to take a quick look. I still think there's a chance that something is there. Minnesota and the Fergus Falls area are into geocaching. The Fergus Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau even holds a geocache festival called Geofest Midwest. The last one was in September 2010. I also saw another geocaching website where someone hid a geocache container on a wagon on the FFSH grounds. So it's definitely possible that a clue for us could be nearby. Maybe not - it would be nice to know.

Ok so if this is going to be a real geographic clue then how is Josh gonna find out to reply to Mysterio? Are we gonna message Josh to say HEY WE FOUND IT AT THE HOSPITAL! This is real exciting. I wonder if the RP was a ploy to get our locations so they could start this ARG/Geocaching knowing that there were people following the ARG nearby to find the clue. Think about it if they were gonna hide clues they would need to know where they could be hide them relatively close to us so that they were going to be found pretty quickly to move the game forward. And now the game is in our hands (finally). Look they even dropped that clue on a friday leaving the weekend to find it. I'm hoping we will get more clues like this and we will each be a part of this. Bravo Mr. Abrams and Bad Robot Bravo... Oh by the way I have a friend who when to school for Map Making and geology looking at our map.

You could call the Otter Tail County Historical Society of Fergus Falls. They give walking tours that include the FFSH. Here's a link to their website.

http://www.otchs.org/planYourTour.html

Their phone number and address is on the left. It mentions the FFSH tours near the bottom of the page.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if that was the correct website or not because of the discussion about the craigslist sale. Sorry about all the questions, I am new to this sort of thing....

Should mention the purpose of my tour?

The license plate on the truck was from Ohio..
Kinda out of the way for a train to go thru Minnesota en route to Ohio from Nevada..as is for a truck from Ohio to drive to Minnesota to crash into a train from Nevada..But anything could happen I s'pose..

Black line

We have focused on the numbers and the indicater for the third alleged window. What is the significance of the black marker line? It doesn't follow any state contours. It doesn't follow the lines of anything familiar. Maybe that's a clue too?

Harry I've never had the opportunity to check out a clue like this - but if it were me, I'd call first and tell someone why you might visit. I remember someone else talking about retrieving a package for another ARG - I think it was FSURobbie - and he said there was someone there watching who didn't speak to him until FSURobbie asked him a question. Then the guy spoke to him about the package and said he was told not to speak unless spoken to. Anyhow, my point is that if there is something at FFSH - it seems like the people there would be informed by the JJ people. If it's a long trip for you, I'd definitely call and check first.

I checked the geocaching site right away. There is a geocache on the grounds, but it was placed in 2009. The numbers on the map are close to, but not exactly, the decimal minutes of the latitude and longitude.
