There was some discussion of this in the Entry 32 thread, though I couldn't point out the exact page number! If you're doing the 32 wiki entry, you should read through the video thread anyways -- lots of good speculation to compile in there.

I wouldn't be so sure we'll get it before next week - my bet would be late next week or later. If he's going to shoot tomorrow (today?) then I'd guess unless they're efficient and get it all done in a day, they might have to go again tomorrow, or maybe another day when its convenient.

Even if they get the footage done today theres the editing process, which is arduous and can take a couple of days. This might take particularly long if you consider he's probably studying/working/hanging out with friends/family/having a life. Don't mean to shoot you down, just don't want people to get peeved if it isn't on YouTube by Friday evening.

 		Guise, i was loking at an older blogpost, and i think that the mellon in teh sync is a new maskys kay? look at it, its totally a mask and it caught the masky disease so now jess and tim and seth and sailor moon aren't the only maskys anymore.

Sorry about that, needed to vomit some nonsense. In other news, the weather is pretty bad today, maybe they're actually taking advantage of that for this post? Because they knew for a while that this week was going to be a doozy as far as snow, so maybe they picked it on purpose?

But how bad is it supposed to snow in Alabama? They're probably getting rain instead of snow, due to it being farther south (unless they were waiting for some heavy rain for the next entry instead of snow).

I got a similar vibe from watching this entry. I am wondering if it has to do with if someone near a camera is thinking of the Operator.

Some examples:
- Masky causes insane distortion and he thinks about the Operator all the time.
- Jessica caused slight distortion after a few nights (and Operator dreams), and severe distortion while discussing those dreams.
- Encountering the Operator in Entry 29 ended in total distortion blackout.

Some cases that could fall into this theory:
- The distortion in Entry 17 could have been caused by someone noticing the Operator out the window.
- Entry 5's distortion could have been caused by Alex's expecting to see the Operator.

I don't know why thinking about the Operator would cause distortion, but your theory does make sense (energy leeching off fear). There was little/no distortion in Entries 1,4,6 and it didn't seem like Alex knew what he was dealing with at that point.

That's actually a really neat theory. Maybe the distortion is getting worse and more wide-spread because The Operator is growing in power? I get a seriously dark vibe off of Season 2, even darker than Season 1. Season 1 had some creepy locales and creepy happenings, but Season 2 has just some downright surreal locations and environments, and makes it all appear a lot more nightmarish and fantasy-like. That says to me that The Operator's influence is spreading pretty much everywhere now, and is kind of warping reality in a more active sense now than he had before.

This theory would also explain Alex's behavior toward SM in #26: by that time he knew enough about it to be able to handle encounters properly, without a show of fear.
