I don't think it is meant to by hyped as much as it is. Something tells me that there were filming troubles that had him delay it so long. I could understand that.

That's actually what I've been thinking for a while now, Benjamin. I know he usually does take long to update, but I highly doubt that the Thanksgiving footage would take this long to edit alone. He may have been called the Valve of the Notable Slender Man Trio, but I don't think he would have taken this long to post the video unless something happened OOG.

Either way, I'm still looking forward to this footage. ^_^

Don't get me wrong here, I love Tribe Twelve and I've really enjoyed the slow burn of discovery and reveal, it seems more realistic for how someone who doesn't have access to the kind of databases law enforcement does would find info and the amount of time it can take just to work through the loose ends. I might just be getting anxious to see what happens next and each twitter that isn't a link to a new vid is driving me up the wall a bit.

So can I, but if that happens the solution is to *not talk about the footage*, rather than constantly drawing attention to the fact that a) it exists and b) you ain't sharin'.

I mean, if Noah had said that the footage was mysteriously "stolen" and then tweeted about finding it again when he was done editing, I think people would be a lot more patient, because there'd be an IG reason for Noah not to just upload it immediately aside from "I'm a pussy puss puss-wuss".

I concur. It also spoils the air of dread or anticipation when you keep talking about what the viewers are going to see next. With series like MarbleHornets or EverymanHYBRID, the content of their next video usually isn't shared until right before it's put up, or until the video is actually up and seen. It preserves a sense of surprise, ensuring we're on the edge of our seat while we're waiting.

I feel like the footage isn't gonna live up to the hype no matter how scary it is. There's only so scary that some Slenderman footage can be, and he's twittering about it like it made him piss himself several times over.
