Official notice that I made it (#089). I'm glad, yet pissed at myself because my recitation was not up to par as I was pretty focused on getting a good shot! Oh well, just glad I made it to another trial.
Damn, 48 is both a small number and also more than I had accounted for. I'm sure some people are uploading to things other than the designated youtube, but I can't help wondering once more about the possibility of hidden Rabbits...

So, I had a thought: You know what would be pretty epic? HABBY's trials are all leading up to his big reveal... as in, the winner is mailed a video, he/she watches it. Evan with a knife is on it, grinning like a HABBY-Madman. A thousand cool Hybrids mutter "oh shit" under their breath.

Since I've gotten home and apparently outrun the NY snowmageddon I was gonna try and draft this letter to the EMH crew, but now I just dunno where to begin. I'm poring over the Corenthal letter wiki entries trying not to miss anything.

So qaqa and I have been cross-talking and qaqa brought up an important point:

1971: Doctor Corenthal first begins treating the children.

1976: Doctor Corenthal adopts these same children.

Ten years later, in 1981, the Mining Town Four are described as having "succumbed" to their demons. The time span is a little too convenient. Since they were old enough to communicate in '71, the MT4 must have been, what, five or six years old? By '76, five years after they were admitted, they all would be eleven years old at the most. By the time '81 rolled around they all would be entering their twenties.

The HYBRID crew are entering their twenties now -- hell, Evan had his twentieth birthday a few months ago.

The correlation is pretty powerful, especially since qaqa and I co-sign on the "they're the same kids!" theory.

Yeah - the timeframe correlation hit me like a ton of bricks when I started writing this long-ass wheezy letter to Jeff about the situation. I do not think it is any kind of coincidence.

As for my endless letter I just sent, half of it is recapping in case IG Jeff has not taken a very close look at some of the Corenthal stuff for fear of seeing parallels. I tried to mention every specific term or name, like the reverend, the soldier, even that dog's name, the other Jeff's writing, little Evan's camera and picture book, to see if anything strikes a chord. I steered way clear of any suggestion that Jeff and co. are the same kids as those from the '70s. I don't think that's an avenue any of them are prepared to explore yet, so I couched things in different terms, focusing on the theory that perhaps they are being targeted because they are similar to the other kids. Yes..."similar"... I said they needed to look deeper into the Corenthal data and go looking for the remaining family, and that information was their only weapon, no matter how scary - only by, uh, "proving" they aren't the same kids could they perhaps gain strength, as opposed to huddling in isolation and being fucked with mentally.

Well, it sounds inspirational, I guess.
