On the PC version I am having issues with 'Chapter 7 End of the Line' right after you get off the recognizer.

You jump from one hand hold to another, then you are supposed to jump up to the ledge (I've watched video of it to make sure I wasn't crazy), but mine will not jump high enough to grab the ledge! He almost makes it but never grabs hold.

*update* This appears to be a bug in the highest resolution, swapping to a lower setting corrected it.

Those cutscene screen caps sure are pretty though. Thanks for saving me the money. My crap-o-meter was dinging on this one but I nearly ignored it. Good rule of thumb is that all games from movies blow and all movies from games blow.

Too bad this was not the exception.

If anyone wants to play a true futuristic racer. I am on WipeOut on PS3 everyonce in a while if anyone wants a match

If you played the game and are seeing the movie, you'll be seeing a key cutscene again and hear a reference to the game. But Evolution still sucked!

Just finished story mode last night. I MIGHT go through it to pick up stuff I missed, or I might not. The controls are a giant P.I.T.A.!! Camera bounces all over the place, sometimes you jsut have no idea where to go next, and the frequent suicides from leaping off ledges was enough to drive me insane.

Love the graphics & music, but that was about it in the story mode.

As for muliplayer...... I love that the most!!! I just got to get over my "button masher" tendencies and learn the controls a little better. I'll definitely keep playing online as long as they keep it updated.

Story mode: 2 / 5
Mulitplayer: 4 / 5

Just heard that they released 5 new maps for the online multiplayer including the Classic Light Cycle grid from the '82 movie.

I'm thinking I need to invest a couple bucks to get this one Smile

I just picked up he game, but then, I jut got my xbox for christmas, and I happened to get Halo Reach, which I had to play for a bit because the series is one of my favorites.

I'm going to pick it up again tonight though.

I finished story mode today, finally (Fable 3 had precedence). This game looks beautiful on the 360, and the music was complimented things well. I liked the story, especially the scenes with Flynn, and the ending of the game.

The gripes:
- Yeah, the infinite suicides from leaping off things...that got old. I'm not the best gamer in the world and had about 500 by the time I finished the game. At least they have checkpoints at just about every 100 steps you take...
- The fixed camera angle at times was REALLY annoying. Let me move the camera, dammit!
- I eventually learned that, while wall running/climbing to just "go with it" and leap even if they didn't give you the visual evidence of where you needed to go (wall running on left, jump to right to continue wall running, etc.)
- Battles never seemed to be that hard; you ALWAYS had infinite energy and health nearby. You could only really get frustrated if you didn't know the right move to make to defeat someone more easily.
- YOU CAN'T QUIT OUT OF THE END CREDITS! If you watch the last scene and go into the credits, you can not get out without quitting the game. You can't speed them up/skip them. Yeesh!

Having read Betrayal and seen the movie multiple times, I did enjoy the game quite a bit, and I'll take a gander at the multiplayer, but I don't know how much replay it will actually get.
