Coelacanth is an TROGLOBITE

 		Coelacanth is an TROGLOBITE
Ok , after doing some research I found out that the Coelacanth ( the fish that Josh loves) is found in caves so therefore means its an example of an TROGLOBITE ( trogl) .... So its strange that Josh's dad studied cave life and Josh's favourite fish lives in a cave.

Now the moby dick book had the word TROGL in the cornor and so did the ID badge , so its safe to assume that Josh's dad wrote both of these as a clue to Josh that he had some involvment in his life as on the post on HLM josh mentiones he nver knew his dad growing up.

 		Awesome. This is a good link between Josh and his father.
I actually wrote an email to Josh, why he is so interested about Coelacanth. Till now no answer, but hope for more.

I don't know, when Josh saw his father last time before his disappearance, but perhaps in deep childhood his father told him about wondeful world of ancient beeings, and also told about Coelacanth.

So perhaps Josh is actually looking for his Dad, not Coelacanth, he just projects his fathers character or person to this target named "Coelacanth"?..

 		Before we jump to conclusions let's look at it like this.

Josh's Dad wrote TROGL in that book trying to get Josh to look at this word

Troglodyte

Which is defined as:  

1. a prehistoric cave dweller.

2. a person of degraded, primitive, or brutal character.

---> 3. a person living in seclusion. <----

4. a person unacquainted with affairs of the world.

5. an animal living underground.

 		I can see where your coming from but the other definations make more sense
•A member of a supposed prehistoric race that lived in caves or holes - considering Josh's dad studies caves this is a strong contender ... no-one knows what it means but either its your idea or mine Razz

It's funny how this is turning out. We toiled with the troglodite reference early on and dismissed it. Now we are back to it. It is amazing how we've come full circle.

Oh, so many of us have said that at one point or the other in this ARG.

Consider how JJ is a master of throwing the monkey wrench in the works, and all bets are off until we see just how everything fits (or doesn't).

There certainly is an appropriate dual meaning (as has been mentioned) for troglodyte that would be applicable in the case of Josh's father, but we are merely inferring that TROGL means troglodyte, or troglobite. It could mean either or neither.

I feel it is prudent to keep our minds set on "open," and thinking on "lateral" and that will gain us the best advantage of solving JJ's Mystery Box. Wink
