I assume some of us have considered something like this possibility in the past - I don't pay too close attention to the timey-wimey stuff - but maybe the hidden video footage of a barren world with sirens indicates we're already too late?

Weren't those files found buried on the EMH hard drive? Weren't they numbered in a series? Maybe they were made by the boys from a setup similar to the bunker we see in the two unofficial videos, WTTA and Slender Man. And sent back here, or across to here. So maybe they're already gone and we're watching their past selves in some weird loop.

I hope not, but I remember their fondness for Donnie Darko (and sorry, anything Richard Kelly made after the original theatrical cut of Darko is fucking awful, especially Southland Tales) so I wonder.

The Tangent Universe is collapsing.

By tangent universe, I am referring to Donnie Darko and the Theory of Time Travel.

In DD, the Tangent Universe is opened when Donnie takes his pills. IN GAME, Damsel flushes her pills whereabouts of the Sleep Lab stuff. Evan has his dream about everyone vanishing and screaming and joy.


I don't really know where I'm going with this, I honestly don't believe that TToTT is incorporated in EMH, but In Game Jeff went out of his way to mention that he watched it for the first time at some point, which makes me wonder if PM Jeff has actually seen it.

It works to an extent.

First, let me say again fuck that Director's Cut in the ear. I got no time for that shit. I would say Kelly will grow out of the needless overcomplication, but I've seen his films since. /hater

That being said, I think there is another universe involved here, somehow, in the endgame. I just am trying to focus on the past/Corenthal angle right now. I think they all come from this world and this universe. How they might get to another one is a different story.

I'm not sure that was laughter in the voicemail. It almost sounded like Jessa's breathing or crying distorted.

I just looked at that again myself, and noticed something I'd forgotten about.

Yeah - I think I'm going to try and send the same letter to Steph at her tumblr, assuming she still checks it. I can't think of any other way to get in touch with her directly.

I am legitimately curious about TNC and GreenFeathers. TNC seems over-stressed and GreenFeathers is posting weird shit.

That GreenFeathers thing does not seem like a coincidence to me. He's savvy enough to handle the nuances of the ARG on-camera in their game and do tech work - which I could never do despite a few years of post-production - and he rolled with them well during their outing in which they never broke character. I think he's in it now.

This waiting thing sucks way worse when you've made yourself involved.

Guys this is supposed to be on-topic only take the degrees game to the off-topic please.

If there is another universe at play then that's another puzzle piece that complicates. I do think it might be a good idea to see if those screams sound anything like the ones from Evan's dream with the screaming children. He might not remember much of that dream but if something is /really/ disturbing it stays in the back of your mind for months. In fact we can see if the other boys hear the screaming or sirens frequently as well it might give us a clue.

If it is like a video-game and they are running out of continues then we might be coming to a climactic cut-scene sooner or later here one that ends for one party. No one wants this to happen but it could.

TNC and Greenfeathers are another source of strange that we can either attribute to dicking around on Greenfeathers part that or because of his previous ease he has become IG and possible rl stress or some such on TNC's part.
