Does anyone think there might be a relationship between the NOT DEAD LAST and the big "No Hearse" images

I can almost taste a connection there...

On the other hand a lot of these puzzles today have the "death" theme...

Great going, Karmic!

One question, does this take care of both "not dead last" and the notes, or just the former?

FACE ACEG
BBAE DEAD

if it's not the one where dead is last, it's the one where face is first...

na-cat.gif is not corrupted, it's a different gif file.

There are letters in some of the frames, instead of the bee that the cat is chasing:

Frame 4: g
Frame 7: o
Frame 10: d
Frame 22: d
Frame 24: e
Frame 26: s
Frame 27: s

One of the sets of musical notes spells out BBAE DEAD. The other spells out FACE ACEG. Not dead_last, so...face_first. Great job!
