INFO: Beltane and the nine woods (Trithemius)

Take a look at this (I do not have time to follow up - like I didn't on the Bacon cipher)... but it gives good info on what to do with the nine woods.

http://www.angelfire.com/oh4/ShadowRealm/march.htm (also look at april and may)

Extracts from this site:
A good traditional Beltane fire is composed of nine woods <there is a table of them>

In preparation for the May Day celebration, the bundle of wood for the Beltane Fire containing three pieces each of nine different kinds of woods gathered in March. (See March for more information) These should be thoroughly dried by now and should cause quite a blaze. You may wish to adorn the bundle, white flowers and ribbons are appropriate for this. Use white flowers, ribbons, and blossom from fruit trees, all of which are sacred to the Lady. As you bind the bundle you may wish to chant something similar to these words:
Bundle of wood , ribbon bound
with flower of the Lady's crown.
Bundle of wood for Beltane Fire,
Blaze and burn as I desire!

It also talks about preparation... eggs and seeds and so on. All familiar themes.

May be we need to get someone (Sam or Wes) to collect this stuff and go down there
