Password was blindingly ovbious when you block out the smokescreens - Bill, Archie and his spoon. I searched wikipedia for William archibald. One of the listings was William Archibald Spooner - a man who often got his letters mixed up as Wallace had with the hidden phrase in the document. I tried

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Spooner

And hey presto.

also - Wiki updated http://missingwallace.wikispaces.com

Have also emailed Wallace telling him how that damn thing kept me up at night.

And now is bedtimes.

Will maybe look at it again tomorrow as Leamas mailed about yesterday's crypto msg & Lewis has a PW giving friend.
Leamas Alter wrote:
Welcome to life, can be scary sometimes.

The coded message below is a street address and now that you've got the password I'm sure you can back track from there. I'll give you a couple of points though:

path for many = Street

6 points in space = Place (To find anything physical position in space you need 6 points, well actually there is a 7th that being time but that is just complicating matters)

As for the transcript:

Samael my worst half opened the gateway a crack back just after the fallen and the nephilim got thrown into Tartarus. The resulting energy blasted Samael's physical body into the ether leaving just the spirit and in the process created me his better half. Three times before he has managed to reopen the gateway but only for short periods of time. Who do think taught ancient man to use it in the first place, although his goal has always been to open it permanently.

He whispers into ears, slowly nudging in the right direction takes a lot of effect when you have no physical being. Style is Samael's pawn or as Bob puts it the Boojum's Pawn. Just in case your wondering Bob is my pawn and Drake is no knight despite what he thinks. The end of the beginning is coming you had better prepare yourselves.

Looks like someone has seen the light. Wallace and his woman made a serious error in going against me.

This confirms the location looks like the money I spent was worth it. Just the method now and I think I know where to get that. Your end is coming soon apart the person who just supplied me with the passwords of course.

More from Bob

The name of the .txt file rots to Heroes Create Stories Which Change Over Time". It's contents are still a mystery to me.

The .doc file refers to a book "Long Way Round: Chasing Shadows Across the World" and contains a hidden message: "ankors jock kirdr.y"

And of course there's another PW protected archive.

The "Livsiw Gviexi Wxsvmiw Almgl Glerki Sziv Xmqi.txt" quote after it's decoded from Base64

Disjointed thoughts:

McGregor and Boorman travelled 19000 miles. They went from London to New York on motorcycles. They travelled eastwards through Europe and Asia, flew to Alaska and continued by road from there to New York.

Charles Fort's writing was the inspiration for The Fortean Times, which has featured prominently in a few of Bob's puzzles. "One measures a circle" could be a sideways glance at stone circle surveys, which is what Maad was doing before he disappeared.

ankors jock kirdr.y doesn't appear to ROT to anything useful as far as I can tell (tried ROT-47 also).

Any ideas how I might contact him?

Guess that's a push that Leamas' "street address" msg is a priority. Liked JumboTron's anagram idea but those "k's" were tough. Having <ed LongWayRound TY series I imagined " ankors jock kirdr.y" as a circle/wheel & did some 3 word cryptos like dustier pict theme

in which case:

Prime<Zeret - I think this refers to a number maybe? A prime number less than "zeret"?

EH 259 PU - could be roslyn

path for many, - Street

4.52g silver - could be Gros
Venus Envy - this usually refers to competition between women (sly, underhanded, bitchy competition usually)
0,0 = 1, 0,1 = 0, 1,1 = 0 - still not sure of this one. All I can think of is "Origin"

6 points in space - Place

Coffee Believed " Prime<Zeret=Abebe Argegai", the Ethiopian Prime Minister who escaped the Zeret massacre. Maybe "0,0 = 1, 0,1 = 0, 1,1 = 0" are Exponents in algebra? But am so nowhere with this.

Well considering I have no idea what a "Zeret" is apart from a city in Egypt and an ancient hebrew measurement, I think your suggestion currently carries more weight.

Here's an off the wall thought for Venus Envy. When a woman wears an overtly ornate dress to some get together (and bear with me on this because I have NO idea what women think nor will I ever have), this is a covert attempt to show up her hostess in some sort of inconsequential competition that only she cares about, which is also referred to as "Venus Envy". Now, rings on fingers and bells on toes, riding a white horse, playing music where e'er she goes is pretty damn extravagant. Could the venus envy clue refer to Banbury?

EDIT: Leamas also told us to "backtrack from wallace's puzzle" - does that mean the password is somehow linked to all of these? - Street - S, Place - P.... do we need 2 O's an N an E and an R?

OK just received this from Leamas:

Leamas Alter wrote:
"Prime<Zeret
EH 259 PU
path for many,

4.52g silver
Venus Envy (CB)
0,0 = 1, 0,1 = 0, 1,1 = 0 (Boolean)

6 points in space "

This was to point you at the spooner password and nothing else, it is a street address as I said to Amandel. If you want to decode the puzzle you are quite welcome, but since you have the wallace's password it is not really a requirement anymore.

There's me being helpful again and you completely get the wrong end of the stick.

Looks like Bob is up to his old tricks again with simple but deceptive clues, like the Heroes one. That "ankors jock kirdr.y" is going to be a bugger to unscramble, however the "." gives you a small clue and will remove a couple of letters.

Leamas Alter.

So we can stop looking at that now and get back to bob's files.

"Heroes Create Stories Which Change Over Time" could be: MYTHS
which seems to fit for a clue. (Or maybe LEGEND as used before)??

"." removes a couple of letters. Could point to Skip??

Skip 8 = aorsikkyjdrknc. ro
Skip 7 = ajrkcrr y inodok.sk

Unscramble means??

Dang, this thing has more smoke than a Deadhead convention.

PS: Great work everyone Smile I was kinda MIA for awhile.

Good to have you back Booba. I was also thinking about the "myth" link. Also have got it into my head that circles and / or circumferences are involved somehow.
