I'm more intrigued by the blue flashing lightning bolt looking thingy..

The source of it is behind the explosion..

It does resemble MGP, but it seems to be some solid structure, since it doesn't move or anything.

On a Completely different note, I do see letters on the front of the building.. I see an I A M or N. Can you get a screen shot of this before it explodes? or at the earliest part?

Perhaps the location of what is exploding and why could be important?

As I look at the trailers again, there seems to be this blue light in every scene where there is some sort of weird activity..even on the Paramount logo..

When I first caught the image I thought it looked like ET with his long arms. I guess it does kind of resemble the Cloverfield monster though! I'm just glad someone else can see something too....YAY...I'm not totally bonkers

I doubt it has anything to do with Cloverfield, which was already concluded from the almost very beginning, but still... I'm dying to see a Cloverfield sequal ;(

while the explosion itself is yellow-orange in color and tone, there does seem to be a ray of light coming out of the structure to the upper left (above what was thought to be Cloverfield)... I dont think it is actually part of the explosion, I think it is the cause of the explosion... perhaps an energy bolt from the super8 "monster/alien".

Does anyone else see that as a possibility here?
