I always thought that had something to do with the whole 'filming themselves all the time' paranoia he and Alex shared.

Either that or latent film student instinct tells him 'It can't be ALL white-text-on-a-black-background... I GOTS IT! Scenic landscape shots!'

It's only that, along the way, we are having issues with their in-game time management, and their reasons for posting.

I think this is very likely. It can be entirely possible that, in planning the general arc of the season, they came up with a great overall picture but lost sight of what the thing would look like to people watching.

This is very easy to do. When you have have a grand sweeping view of the entire structure of a story, it's hard to take a step back, self-censor what you know, and work out what the story looks like to someone who doesn't have your perspective on it.

In one of the first entries, didn't Alex say that he saw Slenderman at a streetlight while driving his car? Also:

In the radio interview Troy and Joseph talk about how the original ending of season one was going to have a confrontation in a car that involved the car swerving of the road or something

I think it was something along the lines of J driving in the night, and finding SM under several streetlights. Doesn´t sound that bad.

and guys? I... I think were nearing the end. This video... changes everything. In short... it appears that Alex caught up to Jay, helped him catch masky (the one that we saw in entry #33) revealed who it was

it was Tim

then Alex appeared to smash Tim's skull in with a large... rock? not sure on what, but it looked big.


Where does this leave us? Let me sum it up:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A. Alex may have just killed Tim
B. Tim may still be alive, or The Operator has the ability to bring back the dead (The masky from entry #33 wore the exact same mask, and the same jacket...)
C. Jay may have actually inflicted the memory loss himself. Not hard to believe considering he watched one of his good friends possibly murder someone...

In short, things are getting hectic.

Let me know what you think.

 		Just curious, but are there any theories that have to do with Slenderman and faces? Such as how Masky always wears a mask when he's acting like Masky and not Tim, and how Slenderman has no face of his own?

[1:24] Alex starts tying up Masky and J picks up the camera
[1:25] The camera distorts until 1:32. Shouts are heard
[1:34] J says "Keep him still"
[1:36] J unmasks Masky!!! It's Tim!!! What a surprise!!!
[1:38] Tim starts coughing. Alex seems to gesture to the left and J says "What?". J looks left to see Masky's knife
[1:41] Alex says "Give me the knife!"
[1:43] J says "No! I'm not giving you the knife!" and picks it up
[1:45] Alex says "Turn off the camera!"
[1:46] Alex gets up off Tim and walks left
[1:47] Alex picks up a rock and J shouts "What? No! Hey, hey, hey, hey!"
[1:48] Alex walks over to Tim and raises the rock above his head saying "He's not gonna follow us!". Tim moves his legs as though he's trying to crawl away on his back and protect himself
[1:49] The camera tilts down to the right and J says "What are you doing?" then Tim screaming is heard
[1:50] Camera shows J driving and he does not look happy. Only the driver's seat can be seen
