This is Great I can't keep up... I recognized the Quasi model as soon as I saw the piece.. Someone had posted, - I do have Q on that - was there one in the window of the hobby store in WV? thought I saw a Pic at one time of the windows and saw Monster model Kits. BTW I think that one looks like the Glow in the Dark Version also.
I agree this may be payback for all the moving too slow comments ..LOL

Here's the window I think you're talking about - no Quasimodo.
Before Main St. filming began, the items in the hobby store windows were often changed - but there's no Quasi in any of the pics I took.

Nice picture! How long were you there?
I see two glow in the dark model boxes but not Hunchy.
The Witch has Polar Lights branding, who only started up in the 90s to reissue them, bit of a historical accuracy error there

Do you mean how long was I in Weirton? A lifetime...
I actually got to see them shoot most of the scenes in the Weirton area.
It was a hell of a good time!

eebygumlad and harry and everyone else;
Thanks for posting the images. The 3b image "eebygumlad" posted looks as though it's upside down. (I wish I had the knowledge and software to tweak the images like many of you!)
Makes you wonder in the whole ARG, where we should assume the images are coming from, for if it is the same as the STIES--which was the real 1st go 2 from the 1st trailer--you'd think it's Mysterio.
So what do all of these mean to Josh, and how, and what, can he relate them too?

This has been brought up months ago, and while anything is possible, if the being had that kind of power, why didnt he us it to simply make the engineer hit the brakes, then open the door and jump out? Alot safer..
I don't think that it knows where the brakes of the train are. It's an alien. Why would it already know where the brakes in the train are? And, for example, if you're trapped in a room, would you know what things are in the next room, or at the outside? Unless it has that kind of power.. It's JJ's alien anyway, so we have no idea yet what kinds of "powers" it has yet.

You know how animals have peta? Well what if whoever [implying it was an experiment gone wrong] wanted to free it. Because they believed having it help captive and stuff was wrong.
I would rather support this more. Only with the "whoever" part being replaced with the aliens in the skies, guiding their comrade to wherever they want him to go. And so is the "experiment" part, too.

Might be a longshot, but are the 3 dots meant for symbolism to, and not just navigational clues?

I think they may have a dual purpose.
The 3 dots may be a logo of the "agency".
As far as the ARG is concerned it's used for relevance of the information presented.
A lot of the pics produced without the 3 dots are purely for plot reference. Those with have been used for the puzzle aspect of the clues.
I guess it's a part of pointing out to us which part of information may be more useful than others and guiding us on what to focus our attention on.

Just my thoughts on the timeframe of the movie: to me, it has to take place in/around June 1979...
given the info from the original trailer, the picture of the sign (taken during the filming) outside the Lillian school that says "Have a Great Summer", and that the R2D2 model was not released until 1979
