[trailhead] Tarot by Saranna A new trailhead email I luuuurve getting these emails - (PMs - don't stop sending them to me! Keep em comin')
I received an email which was blank save for the following url and the subject "Seeking info about past lives"
http://tarotbysaranna.blogspot.com/
Seems Saranna is a tarot reader, and has encountered a customer who is looking for his missing wife. The customer, she named him David, has revealed that in a former life he had murdered his spouse and so was cursed by her brother. Seems this brother has enacted his revenge and kidnapped David's current wife "Norah".
Interested?

Damn! You beat me to it . I got the same email, and was just looking around the site. It's probably worth sending an email to Saranna to see what happens, if only just to get a tarot reading.
The info about David has my interest though. Then again, reincarnation always seems to do that. I wonder what will happen next?

I'm in Exploring her blog, the "deck" tab has the full list of the cards and each has a hyperlink. I clicked on each to see if there was something, but it simply takes me to the images in isolation.
I find the idea of being held so starkly accountable, in this life, for sins committed in a past life frightening! This sounds like a unique storyline.

So, I got a reply to my request for a reading. It was a simple attachment. I assume anyone who e-mails her gets the same doc.
I'll be replying with something about my love life and the Fool Card.

I also sent a mail. Can't wait to find out this is all some sort of pikey scam.

I agree. This seems pretty low-budget if they are using Gmail and Blogger.
Is there such a thing as an "indie" ARG?
Has anybody deciphered the clue at the bottom of the attachment? I hope one of the words isn't "sucker".

Gibberish at the bottom of the form There is a gibberish piece of text at the bottom of that form, and two images on either side which are not copy/pasting so well. Here is the text, anyhow (probably not necessary to hide it, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who has not received a reply from the tarot reader yet):

I still think there is something to the actual cards on the "deck" portion of her site. I just found this, so have not worked on solving yet.

Well the 18 card and the 19 card are given the wrong number names, but otherwise I still don't see anything.

Oh yes there are indie ARGs. Best ones if you ask me as well. Never be afraid of low budget - the best ARGs I've played had a very tight budget.
Also I took the liberty of enlarging the images at the bottom of the document. The one on the left is a Cup, the one on the right is a Triple ring (see attached)
EDIT: The code at the bottom of the page translated to:

Yep looks like a fun game to play for awhile.
This reminds of a BBC drama (can't remember the name now) which had two stories one set during WWII and other in the present, maybe called: Promise.
Sent her an email from a now vacant email address, should be interesting to see how this plays out.
ETA: There's me not paying attention again, I only sent her a question didn't select a card.
Got a reply not really very helpful:
Quote:
Dearest Leamas,
Are you asking for a reading? If so, you must ask a question about yourself, and you must choose a card from the deck.
Sincerest Thanks,
Saranna
Emailed her back with a card and a question this time but I also asked again about David, you never know

Oh wow. This game looks NIFTY.
Dropped Saranna a line/Tarot inquiry.
...
This could be fun.
